Thanks N888, Haggis, reading ships of this size can burn one gallon every 50 feet !..... I understand they've gone as far as they can with the existing engine in the time available, however I think they should have gone the extra mile and converted the ship to Electric Propulsion when they had the chance. Low sulphur diesel helps with emissions and efficiency but consumes a lot of Cobalt in its production, as seen below potentially more Toxic to the envioment.
