Not a lynch mob, we're not trying to torpedo the deal. I personally want answers on Kiliwani timescales, Namisange license extension, Nyuni plans, Salary reduction and last but not least funding for projects outside of the farm-out deal - i.e. how can we afford to do anything independently in the next 3 years while waiting for cash to accumulate from Ruvuma.

Is the Protest group saying that a small number of investors can change or get the deal cancelled?

Do you suggest we just lie down and accept whatever we're told and whatever the BOD wish to do without scrutiny or any form of challenge Tanzania?

I know we tend to get risk averse as we age but we've all been waiting a long time for our payday and this deal has not set the market on fire or filled us all with supreme confidence of achieving our original investment goals from Aminex - far from it.

Perhaps it will make no difference, perhaps they'll ignore us, perhaps the deal will work out in everyones best interests or perhaps it won't. Collectively PI's own the majority of Aminex and while it might involve a little effort to get answers this is OUR company and we should to the best of our ability protect and look to maximise our investment and ensure the BOD are working for US ALL not just the most powerful or largest shareholders.

Lets make our voices heard.

Ideally we'd like 185m to take something to the board but if you're keen to take part let me know because we all have a right to express our views and make our thoughts and feelings known to the BOD who, in turn, have an obligation to listen.

Any resolutions we reach will be posted back on here and possibly ADFN etc for others to express their support (or otherwise) of what we plan to take to the BOD.

Under no circumstance will anyones details be shared with any other party nor will their shareholding be used to contact the BOD without express permission.

I doubt they'll sell at a loss Sammy, I expect if they plan to sell it will be selling into a rise off the back of (great) news.

Drewky has suggested we also give our shareholding in the email so we can aim for 5% (185m) to add some weight to our our questions to the BOD. I have emailed them some of these questions directly but have had no reply.

I think even if we don't get 185 million on the discussion we can at least discuss what we would like to take to the BOD and then open it up for debate on here to, hopefully, reach the 185m + we would need.

I will stress now this is not a rallying call for a lynch mob, but I think we all would like a little transparency over how the process of agreeing this deal was conducted, assessed and concluded subject to EGM.

I'm currently setting up a mechanism to accept and protect email addresses both in the initial joining phase but also once on the Slack platform.

I will also set up a page or if Drewky is happy enough to host it I will write a blog post detailing how to get access to Slack.

I intend to set up several channels (rooms) on Slack and it there will be an easy way of sending private direct messages and having private group chats. You can install a slack app on your phone and also just use the website but I'll add this to a blog post soon.

I would encourage everyone irrespective of their thoughts on the deal to consider joining.

My motivation is to protect my investment and ensure the BOD communicate effectively why this is the best deal rather than expecting us to just accept that it is.

If this really is the best deal available and there are no other options the BOD should be very happy to back that up with some details on how the farmout process was conducted and assessed, which parties were invited or what mechanisms were used to promote the opportunity.

In my opinion the BOD who need to convince us, and the market, that this is the best deal. The weight of responsibility for that lies on their shoulders and right now I'm not convinced.

As Max says there will be many shareholders who do not frequent these boards who will be following the discussion.

Yes there will be traders but there will also be genuine long term holders some of whom will be feeling extremely disappointed as "the man" wins again while we have to just accept whatever we're told and whatever we're given.

As for proof I think the burden of proof should lie with the BOD.

What other organisations were approached and what other deals were discussed. Let's see some proof from Jay Bhattacharjee he's the one saying this is as good as it gets not me.

You might be right matherdj perhaps there isn't anything that can be done about it. However we should ask questions and scrutinise what the BOD tell us, we should be able to discuss and dissect the deal without being told to "shut up" because this our investment, this is our future.

Incredibly the main resolution from the Aminex AGM was to increase the BOD salaries, just think on that.

The transformational deal hasn't had a transformation effect on the share price. Perhaps I'd be more cool about the whole thing if I wasn't now in the red. Kiliwani was a kick in the teeth indeed but what did the BOD do about it? Not much and it's still not resolved.

Serious question - will we ever reach 10p now? At 10p Aminex would have a m/c of ~£360m. That would need to be based on income from 2020 onwards of £9m/year (excluding costs) at 40mmcfd.

I'm asking questions Drewky, you don't need a foundation to ask questions. Also, I'd just point out that you're repeating things too, do as I say not as I do?

Who are they going to award the license to GasLady? They can't award it to the Zubair Corporation until we ratify the deal and transfer operatorship to them. If they award it to Aminex before the deal then we should all vote the deal down because TPDC will have given us the crown jewels and we can send the Zubair Corporation hame tae think again.

The 25 year license will not come until the deal has been voted on at the EGM in September and the deal concluded in November, the Zubair corporation are not idiots.
