Great post Phil&Lyn - I have been thinking on the readout for a few weeks now and suspect we will have the home trial readout W/C 8th March, so thinking along same lines. My reasoning was the fact that these will be very high priority ( and probably already being digested as I write. SSH, TW & Phil Monk will be going through with a forensic approach. After the sky news chat, I believe the outcome is already in the proverbial bag :-)

New variant found #B1525 that has 20 mutations, 9 non-synonymous; many shared by #B117 , #B1351, and #P1. It also has the bad E484K “Eeek” mutation & the 69-70 spike deletion that yields S gene dropout in PCR tests too.

This will seriously hit the fan this weekend and be digested by media over next week or so.

I think we are now starting to see embryonic signs of recognition about SNG001 from a number of sources, which appeared somewhat absent for a long while, considering all we know.
The USA scientists and GOV are not missing a trick here and can see the huge potential for saving lives. With FDA acting commissioner/ACTIV 2/Fauci all referencing very recently, it does not take Albert Einstein to appreciate we are on the home turn of the race.
Can almost smell an EUA granted if there is a whiff of positivity in the trials :-)

I posted this month ago. The recent surge in viral variation is only one piece of a much larger puzzle, one that will challenge our understanding of the crisis for many months to come. Our grasp of the immunology of SARS-CoV-2 remains tenuous at best.
Another site on the spike protein F456 prevented all 11 mabs tested from binding. Lot more research needed, not much progress yet.

However as we know, the cavalry are on their way...…………………... SNG001 !!!!!!

Someone is in the know. RNS bound to be incoming in the next coup[le of days.

And I think we will all be smiling. Thankfully kept topping up at these low prices, mainly due to mcap vs profits :-)
