Hope we hear some good news !!

If the entire worlds population were vaccinated tomorrow, the virus will continue seasonally to kill many people. The only difference to the pandemic being, the health systems throughout the world will hopefully NOT be overwhelmed (and treatments of many types and acting at differing stages) and it will become 'manageable'.

This virus with its coded genetic profile will continue to adapt to survive and thrive. Let us hope that we can manage it.
SNG -From a commercial perspective, we INDIVIDUALLY can sell or hold. We each will have thoughts on 'potential gains' to be made, from very low to very high. All the speculation here will not change the eventual outcome for the drug or its SP.

Not sure Doc - Legally not, but I think with the Principal Investigator being TW and the nurses feedback in the trials, a good indicator of how patients recovered will give a nod and a wink. Just think the lego bricks are starting to fit together quite nicely.

Just think about what Dr Marsden has stated a few times, that as of early 2021, plan is to upscale and manufacture 100, 000 treatments per month via Akron et al, and these will be priced at £2000/treatment. I believe he has already committed to agreements with which guarantees production slots etc etc. Therefore if initial manufacture is now already rolling out in the factories at this level, and as he was using 30 million approx. for this purpose - I am guessing that between now and end of June, Synairgen will have at the very minimum 600, 000 treatments on the shelf (however we do know that last year he was getting some manufactured, without knowing volumes).
This means that without any other outlay, we will have sales of £1.2 billion immediately done IF all goes well in P3. This in itself values an mcap at the very bare minimum of £6 per share without any forecast multiples as per norm.
Whatever happens, we can be certain that huge scale up is already being set up and who knows 'what else' in the background...…..multiple JVs ????
On these very simple calculations alone, we should brace ourselves for a massive uplift in SP, However, success rate @P3 stage for respiratory is considerably higher than most disease area i.e. oncology/CNS/CV

I believe Professor Sir SH knows that the results of the home trial are already validating what has been observed in P2 trials and that is why he is staking his reputation on outlets such as SKY tv etc. The man is not a fool.

This is going to explode IMHO quite soon. AND I think most LTH's secretly know it. I'm guessing ACTIV will be officially announced this week by US Gov with the dreaded SA variant and the 10% efficacy of the AZ vaccine in recent news in mild/moderate Covid.

None of the vaccines elicit mucosal immunity. Asymptomatic infections will remain because they all fail to confer neutralising/sterilising immunity, this puts selective pressure on the S protein, in turn promoting escape-competent variants. We'll be dealing with this problem a long time.
In the meantime we need some cavalry support to prevent long covid issues - any ideas ?

Andrew Pollard, professor of paediatric infection and immunity and chief investigator on the Oxford vaccine trial, said: "This study confirms that the pandemic coronavirus will find ways to continue to spread in vaccinated populations, as expected, but, taken with the promising results from other studies in South Africa using a similar viral vector, vaccines may continue to ease the toll on health care systems by preventing severe disease."
In a news conference on Sunday, Prof Shabir Madhi, who has led trials for the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in South Africa, said the study had been "largely disappointing" in terms of the jab's efficacy against the South Africa variant.
"Unfortunately, the AstraZeneca vaccine does not work against mild and moderate illness," he said, adding that the data did not say whether or not the vaccine might still protect at least against severe infections.
Earlier, Prof Madhi said a vaccine developed by Janssen showed it stopped moderate to severe disease, rather than all disease, and this kept people out of hospital.
"These findings recalibrate thinking about how to approach the pandemic virus and shift the focus from the goal of herd immunity against transmission to the protection of all at-risk individuals in population against severe disease," Prof Madhi added.

Patience and slowly the walls will crumble. SNG has always done things the hard way. The BoD have done a brilliant job on all fronts.
We are totally evidence based with results and this will eventually prove to be the right way. Brick walls start crumbling, mortar erodes and finally the walls collapse.
