Can't really see him selling that many on thr open market. So , maybe a sale to an interested party or a fund. If to only one individual or fund then we should get another RNS asap as that number of shares exceeds 3%.

Just an observation on cashews. I think Lincoln said the gross profit margin would be higher than palm oil. Whether it will produce more profit depends on what that margin is and how many tonnes they can sell. At the start this is expected to be around 10,000 tonnes , rising to 30,000.

I think MPE only report every 6 months. They are much bigger with 2020 production around 271,000 tonnes , so maybe don't see the need to report more often.

M P Evans are much larger than us. Circa £360m market cap. They are on a p/e ratio of 80 . Presumably that is based on forecasts of a bumper 2021 at current Cpo prices .

db - yes I was being conservative, both with profits and p/e. I have been invested here a long time and know how things can go awry with DKL !
It was over 14p in 2017 and we are in much better shape as a company now - especially once the cashew nuts side comes onstream.

If all goes well this year I would hope we can achieve H1 profits at least similar to H1 2017. These were circa £3.5m EBITDA. Add say £1.5m for H2 with a contribution from cashew nuts and we could get to £5m EBITDA. On a p/e ratio of say 9 this would give a share price of around 10p.

$1090 today. If all goes well ( big IF with DKL ! ) I think 10p is quite possible in the next 6 months.

Indeed ! Bought in when they floated but brought the average down when they fell to about 3p. Should have bought more when they fell even further but didn't have the nerve !

HMRC do not view multiple share transactions as trading for one simple reason. That is , most PIs actually make losses. So if they taxed profits as trading income they would have to allow losses to be offset against other income.

It seems to be a very good deal for one Lorne Ebony ! At an implied price of 8p he is already around £150k up.

Interesting psychology here. One has a portfolio of £650k and then you decide to invest just £2k in a share. How odd, why bother ? Then said share falls and you ditch it . It is immaterial to your whole fund so why not keep it and see if it goes back up ? Methinks something does not smell right.

Obviously the price is the price ! That does not mean it is a true reflection of the worth of a company which is why people buy and sell shares and make or lose money. What interests me as an investor , not a trader , are the fundamentals of the company. If I think it is sound on a long term basis I will buy when the price is low. This is exactly what I have done with FFWD and am currently well in profit. I am not really interested in the current share price or whether it goes up or down in the short term. That is for traders to worry about.

decker - you say " the share price does not lie " then you say "the market can remain irrational longer ... etc " Those two statements seem to be rather contradictory !
