Hi guys just looking into CVSG PLC the veterinary group and possible upsides to its sp. Not the usual for this BB but hey it looks like it might have potential. The Vet services industry is currently under going a CMA review into pricing of goods and services and this has dragged the sp down 43% in last quarter but is it over done?

Current sp is £948.01 (not pennies I know) but the forward P/E ratio is 14.7 ( next 12 months) against a 10 year average of 21.5. Broker forecasts (yes I know!!!!) are low 1200p average 1785p and highest 2370p (the sp was 2112 last Sept).

The company is in a strong cash position and always looking at expansion and buyouts including internationally including Netherlands and Australia at the moment and is a major player in the Uk market place.

The CMA is having a 4 week consultation before deciding the best course of action but the BOD don't seem to think that immediate actions will be extreme. News should be arriving from the CMA this month. It looks like the sp has done a usual over reaction somewhat and could represent value at the moment. I'm only high lighting the company as it might appeal to those of you with longer term and short term trading strategies with news that could change the sp imminent. Returning to the average forecast broker rating would give a possible 93.18% up side.

Hi KR and Tro, I have had a small trading bet in FAB and BCE this morning, so nothing over committed but I want to cheer with my boys if it happens. A good call LegalWolf with KAV but I feared being spiked this morning as there were only small purchases available and it went up 17%+ from the bell and I hadn't really done enough research on it but well done you anyway. @ Tro, I don't think there will be any sizeable pull back unless there is a delay beyond the end of this month on news as with the small free float you don't seem to be able to buy and sell in large amounts whenever you want. Interesting next week as I can't really call what might change unless news drops then it should be a good one for us. Cheers Swissy.

I don't know how to call that one OAK20 but either way if it hits 12p then the risk to us PI's is reduced anyway so it isn't going to concern me going forward.

KR I'm not up to speed on BCE so what is the game with that one. I know you are close to news from previous posts but don't know if it is worth a short term bet on i.e. what are the downsides and risk levels of the news not being good and are you personally happy with the BOD in style and execution? I.e is it one of the bear trap reversals we have been trying to master? I'm tempted by your enthusiasm :) Cheers and waiting in anticipation of all your hard work and research Swissy.

I've just been offered 9p now so that would be almost £1K on a £10K bet which is alright for a Friday afternoon the sun, lol!

@Dai, just popped my head onto QED BB and people are already muttering about UTAH and missed timelines and project milestones......so lets have a little competition to guess how long without news before SP represents a buy in opportunity as QED BOD are not in control of timelines and neither has any share holder got a real clue to when things will come in so everyone is a mushroom and mushrooms get bored within 2-3 weeks so I'm guessing by months end.

Yes I know that news could drop anytime but I will consider buying by May if no news as I think sp will be attractive enough for a small punt. What do you think? Cheers Swissy.

Yes I can sell already for 8.66p and one BB member has just tried to but 50000 shares and they wanted 9.4p. FOMO Friday but on a £10K play you could of had nearly £500 profit in 2 hours. Not blinding but a good days pay!

Can sell at 8.625 now so good interest going forward.

Sold Geni at 9.25p and had to buy a smaller amount today at 8.25p. I tried to buy sub 8p over last few days but the MM only let a few go at that and for a very short time slot. Heading back up again on FOMO over weekend as getting close to possible news now. Will see how it goes next week to see if I buy more or look else where.

PP I watched the video I think late last year (I think you posted it) all about the Silver super cycle that was to happen by this spring and it seems it has happened .Wish you well with the commodities and great toes other peoples approaches. Cheers Swissy.

Yes Kev I saw him on Hex as well but this time he wasn't shouting the imminent raise question as it was the first day. I was impressed with the Hex interviews and over subscription although it didn't blow the doors off yesterday. I am looking to buy back into Geni with the ones I sold @9.25p but missed the sub 8p few that were bought late morning despite looking as often as I could. I'm in that position of not wanting to miss out on the event I have held out for but my instinct to snatch profit on Tuesday seems correct thus far. I have just walked the dog and no RNS yet so will watch how it goes today. QED still can't seem to get any news flowing so I will be watching them as well Dai. I think you are probably correct on that assumption deep100 and HEX are not remote as in Tanzania so costs and lead times won't destroy timelines. It could be quite exciting but I still haven't mastered the exploration rules of getting out fast enough at each stage to hold onto dry powder profits but I can understand why you guys play the game as it is exciting. I agree KevinRound and I am not in either and it is amazing how much clearer your examination of facts can be when you are on the sidelines! Lorna never seems to be able to deliver the fine details and I don't like that. I will be watching QED today to see what happens to the sp there now that money is in without news this morning. Looks like Lorna is starting to detail production plant possibilities at Rukwa but once again details are missing ref potential costs etc and still open ended about drilling Tai3 deeper or doing another appraisal / exploration well and all down to lead times of equipment. It will boost the sp this morning so quick trades possible how farit goes is hard to judge. Anybody still in HE1 and what are your thoughts? Cheers Swissy
