The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
I have no issue saying I'm checking this daily for rns s after 7. And many others are too.
We are patently due significant near term news in 3 or 4 spheres which I needn't list because we are all aware what it is.
Considering the juncture we are at, it is quiet. No matter.
After the ML, I happen to believe MIIIF will finally come in. I don't think the DFS will bring them in.
Question. We are at or near payment stage in ML application, is that a 'nominal' payment or a substantive payment would anyone know.
Would be encouraging to see a bit more piling in in anticipation of forthcoming news
No matter, we see the facts as they present themselves, as the milestones are achieved one at a time, each derisk event, it becomes more valuable.
Thats aside from ongoing and almost inevitable resource increases; on that tack shouldn't that 'FLEET' advanced technology survey have reported back by now? albeit not the main event given the anticipated June DFS
Very encouraging and much needed
I don't know if u saw the mighty Toros Twitter comments regards EBITDA
Some pretty astonishing metrics regards dividends and payback if u did
We are close, but close = no cigar ... GLA
Something is stirring, lift your nose, smell the air, detect which way the wind is blowing. Always stay sensible, always, but might be time to grab any more now rather than think about it too much longer. It's been a long road.
I've been unable to view this.
Seeking a clarification. Has earliest production late '24 now officially slipped, it was always optimistic imo, but earliest production is now '25. Is this correct
12 month build phase still current as far as I'm aware. thanks
Indeed. Several of our compatriots are now well out of the blocks, KOD, PREM, now LLL, to name a few.
I don't want to get into debating them, other than I wish them all well.
We are due to get cracking. imminently.
Did a quick dive into Leo. Larger resource than us. Our time will come. I just think Ghana is a better jurisdiction. Leo certainly not hanging around, we should note that, we're right move at all speed. The time is now.
Thats the first time someone has proffered the idea that the permitting may be actually harder then the build.
I think you may have something there.
Anyhow, good to hear peoples thoughts while we wait. Once the rns s land we'll have lots more 'meat' to talk about.
PS on another tack, Ghana economy is struggling, 40% inflation - they really will be looking to release all the perched investment ASAP, I genuinely believe it will bring benefit to Ghana, and that is a good thing aside from my personal aspirations here. gl
Rodney knowledge far superior to mine
However its interesting he zones in on 'uncommitted offtake optionality' - this very week I aired own thoughts on the other 50% still sitting
I do not believe that it will be left for much longer, and certainly not post ML, its a desirable situation we are in
Inevitable caveat. Whilst the mood music appears overwhelmingly positive, nothing is a given (ML). We need to start ticking the boxes, we all know what they are, one after the other... not long now. Whilst it is exciting, I also sense a bit of tension, lot at stake..
Agree with all, and we wait.
I must reluctantly accept that permitting alone precludes the involvement of many new suiters here, in an array of capacities be it from spod customers to funders (eg MIIF), to total T/O. They need to know it will happen, and with the history of AIM mining period, one has to accept that position. I noted wasas honest post couple of week back - lost a very significant sum when the license never happened. Did send a chill.
Anyway, all looking good, not long now.
It may appear quiet here atm to the uninitiated, and on the surface it is.
However, there is so much happening right now in readiness for near term announcements.
One of my many musings is how long that other 50% can stay in the shop window, as high grade near term supply becomes more and more sought. And yes, 12 month mine build out makes this near term (relatively) in Li mine terms.
I think fair to say dfs highly anticipated, personally I'm bursting to see it.
maybe I should 'get out more' but I'm being honest; highly intrigued what numbers will be used ...
All true.
And sometimes AIM overreacts to a slight delay
Thats when the well researched prevail
The well researched look for fundamental shifts or 'changes', not a weeks delay in a release. Under researched get to Q3, July 1st, and panic because the DFS didn't the final signature on it in time. The bigger picture is what counts.
The dfs will be explosive for me, and many holders on here.
Personally though I think the market / sp explosion will only come when definitive ML grant or related actual Governmental permit news lands.
If I'm wrong and you are right i.e it explodes upon dfs, no one will be happier than me to be wrong / be corrected. gl
I don't think Africa is the elephant, reference KOD in Mali.
Without getting into a big debate on jurisdictional, I believe its reasonable to say that Ghana is a superior juridiction.
I think its permitting. As I remarked on Tele, whilst I am positive, the time talking is gradually fading. Its coming to a head. I sense a bit of tension within Ghanain jurisdictional players. Whilst they want the best for the state etc, at some point they need to press the button. The DFS will pile the pressure on, my sixth sense detects it may still get fractious. Not usual when so much money and vested influence is currently at play. Act in haste repent at leisure. I believe Ewoyaa is a monster, with great power comes difficult decisions. Ask lottery winners, it's easy to get it wrong.
that could happen very easily indeed here imo
Materially since the 60p days, the company has only enhanced its position. The drop really is a strange thing, the market is the market, there are complicating factors, DGR being one. So we sit tight.
