Another positive report on gold but I do feel that China, being the main long term owner of US debt, & the fact that their main credit agency has downrated US debt to BBB+ plus will have a far bigger affect on the future price of gold then anything mentioned in the report. I just feel its interesting for all the reports Ive seen on US debt I havent seen one mention of China down grading US debt and as China is by far the worlds biggest producer of gold plus probably the worlds biggest purchaser of gold you would have felt China was worthy of a bigger mention. It is now meant to have stockpiled three times as much gold as the US. Its all looking positive for the future gold price ! For at least the next 10 to 15 years
Yes to guarantee anything from this share you have to be prepared to wait until June 2019 to pass go and collect !
Im sure we must have gained a few new members from GGP welcome you will find we have got real gold ! At least 700,000 ounces so far with drills in the ground as we speak all drilling fully paid !GLA
Like you say we did try to warn them ! There is gold there but its too deep or too thin on the ground to be worth considering at todays prices as Newmont have shown. However Newmont still needs a lot more gold and Im sure they will have noticed us ,but I dont want to be snapped up too early until weve proved up enough gold , like DR says ours is from surface 2.1 grams Good grade per tonne with lots more to come. Whats not to like with a gold price going up !
Central banks printing money like theres no tomorrow. World debt over 250 trillion ,, with a T ,, Stock markets on the verge of collapse , also collapse in bitcoin. There is nowhere else for money to go other than gold and gold shares. Weve got the goods. Gold is going to be heading northwards for the next 15 years. Dont sell too early !
The only kind of deals that I can see that Newmont could do would be if you find gold we will give you this much ,or if you find gold we will pay for the mine to be built ,just imagine if Newmont paid Greatland a whole load of money then when they go back to the shareholders and say yes we just paid a lot of money for Greatland Gold , so how much gold have they got? absolutely not 1 proven ounce , just like the conglomerate gold boys they know they got millions of ounces in the ground but trying to prove it is another matter thats why am so pleased weve got a proper JORC compliant resource, 50,000 m of drilling underway all paid for.
Because its got a growing resource , and for every 4000 invested today youre more or less guaranteed at least 7500 in 18 months time ,with Dave Reeves at the helm fully invested with 350 million shares & in an uncertain world with gold going up ! I put the money I made from Greatland in here, as I say, with a proper resource. If I can do it so can anyone.
Been going through RNSs for the reference to what happens in event of a sale of Calidus. Still looking but Brandon Hill report explains performance shares converting to fully paid up shares on sale in whole or part for in excess of $50,000,000 - see page 21of the report on Calidus website. IMO this price is now looking like an absolute minimum with the drilling planned for this year.
Genuine concern. Hope it works out for Greatland investors. Im more than happy here!
Its mad on there isnt it. Hard to find it again myself so copied it - Greatland Gold History with nothing about Great After reviewing Greatland accounts and RNS for the last 11 years, the conclusion is grim, Greatland has never delivered a commercial project, the company keeps raising equity year after year. Insiders and related parties make plenty of money on option exercises and management fees. GGP founded in 2005, listed on AIM in 2006 Share count has increased 2886% since the IPO The company has raised 8.5m since the IPO (until Jun 2017) 4.4m used in exploration 4.1m used in admin and other costs Investment has yielded no revenue since the IPO in 2006 Greatland has never managed to sell or commercialize any of their projects Greatland farmed out Firetower and Lisle in 2011 and 2013, Both farm-outs was canceled due to poor results Greatland has been drilling at the Ernest project for 9 years, with little tangible progress Very difficult to justify a 70m market cap when only 4.4m has been invested in the groups project over the past 11 years and none of these projects has resulted in a commercial development. Newmont agreement for 6 months of first refusal over the Ernest project expired 16 Nov, without Newmont extending it. Not a big surprise given Greatland non-existing track-record to deliver a commercial project. The market cap was 3.5m in the beginning of 2017, if the whole agreement with Newmont fails, the value of the company will most likely drop to pre-Newmont agreement valuation plus the cash the company has on the balance sheet -> resulting in a market cap of around 9m or 0.3p (85% downside)
Check out post on Greatland (GGP) board at 8.04 today titled REALISTIC FACTS. It echoes what I said on Tuesday about Greatland & is why I sold. PJ selling was the final push that got me out. I have now put best part of 2 pensions in here & still buying. Gold price up again today.
So 7500 In 18 months time , for every 4000 laid out now , sounds a good deal to me
Andee I like how you sorted them out over there have you ever considered playing cricket !
Keras 24 carat gold brilliant name ! should this ever be adopted I believe the share price will be a lot higher than it is now !
I dont believe there is any date for cut-off for bonus shares. All Keras shares & performance shares in Calidus are in escrow until June 2019 unless Calidus is bought up, in which case those shares come out of escrow. But you can buy a lot more at the moment while the price is so low .
Keras gold and resources it just rolls off the tongue , Andy exactly how many carats are we talking ?
Yes I had shares in both but realised we had a rapidly growing resource where as far as I can see ggp have not only not got a resource but havent even put a drill in the ground to obtain a resource so they are actually years behind thats why I moved here only thing They have got going for them is theyve got the word gold in their name so maybe we should add The word gold to our name !
Also my top tip for 2018 as long as you keep until 2019 to collect bonus shares !
