Looking from an aerial view of the two massive granite plates that as they formed crushed the green stone belt between them forming the open shears, this in turn must have formed a massively long pressure relief valve letting out the hot steam and gases. As the granite cooled with Hissing Sid in every direction, in the hot steam, gases and geysers there was loads of gold, deposited under pressure. As you look you can clearly see small workings on just about every bit of shear so there has got to be probably 300 km of open sheer ! So if we were to say on average 150m deep, in my opinion even at low-grade, and we know it is not all low-grade with a good amount at very high grade, you have got to be looking at gold deposits well above the 10 million ounces. We have not started looking at the 20 odd hi grade mines at Marble Bar. And the hot acids sea came in and deposited conglomerate gold so we have probably got some of that as well. I believe we are onto a Real winner. DYOR Good luck all !
Gold price. lots more talk on TV this morning both channels talking of gold going to 1400 which is quite good for them because theyve always been so negative on gold ! And that the markets are now in correction territory 10% down ! The devaluation in Venezuela in February saw gold go up a staggering 24,000 times !!!! As usual people headed for the safe haven.
The first official day of trading for the gold backed yuan, one of the biggest financial events in the last hundred years, yet has anyone seen any mention of it anywhere? The Yuan has been accepted by the IMF as a reserve currency and with the dollar being backed up only by fresh air, and money being printed so fast that the dollar is losing value so quick who will want to use it ? Up till now you had to buy dollars to trade in just about any commodity, that is surely about to end. I can only imagine they do not want to rock the boat too much. Long term this has to be good for gold.

When interest rates rise normally gold takes a dip then goes higher this time it didnt bother with the dip it just went higher! the real reason for Trumps tantrums with China is because the Chinese yuan backed by gold goes online on the 26th, so all Americans should be shaking in their boots as they prepare to say goodbye to the dollar as the reserve currency. It means they will now have to start paying for their imports not issuing worthless U S Treasuries and as the dollar is now only worth four cents thats not gonna buy a lot, and if they keep printing money even less. At least in this country we are making some attempts at paying off our debt which should bode well for the pound long-term if we dont go digital ! Either way it all looks good for gold , remembering that to make a gold backed currency work gold has to be a lot lot lot higher price !! Honestly do not think you could be in a better share than this right now. GLA
CC good question, but with China on the 26th of this month starting to officially use the gold backed yuan as agreed by the IMF as a reserve currency and to make any gold backed currency work it needs to be at the value of USD10,000 per ounce gold otherwise theres not enough gold in the world. So I guess sooner or later thats where the price is going to be heading. In the next few weeks or the next couple years who knows? A world reset is imminent. Can only be good for us.
Andee he sounds the right man for the job. I always felt it could do with someone dedicated to promoting that part of the business and Im sure D R has got plenty to do in Auz so fingers crossed. So we have now got manganese, cobalt, gold is there no silver anywhere that seems to be the in thing !
Andee - me and the wife have a very similar size holding to yours , and I am itching to buy more , your in-depth look is spot-on as usual. Well done. Nothing that I disagree with and believe that it will be outside influences that are likely to have a big end effect on share price ie value of the dollar to the pound and the Aussie dollar, and its effect on gold price. You know I watch the US debt clock, at the beginning of the year it went up $1 million every two minutes now it goes up $1 million every minute nine seconds I dont believe the dollar can sustain that for very long so the dollar reset that I keep hearing about I do not believe can be too far away. Any devaluing of the dollar should be good for gold ! Keep up the good work, much appreciated . But I do wonder what effect a Dollar reset will have on the pound ?
Andee good solid stuff . What all investors look for ....small firm, massive potential, huge resource, plenty of money in the bank with strong management. We seem to have hit the jackpot. Then you realise we have also got the bonus shares and such a low share price that at some stage has got to explode ! Here and Aus a big pat on the back for DR and his team is in order .
With the Gold backed yuan coming into play in March it would seem that trading all around the world is about to change. 115 countries already using yuan to trade with. I believe it has been kept very quiet and with the US dollar becoming less prominent and printing of so much money bound to start having devaluing affect. Up until now the Chinese have wanted the price of gold to be cheap because they have been buying but once they start using it to back a currency I can only imagine theyre going to want gold to be very strong which has got to be good for us in the long run. Also as the US dollar devalues the Aussie dollar should appreciate from all its commodities, which means when our money comes back from Calidus it could help increase our returns versus the pound. Just something extra to bear in mind
