Hello mate, I don't really think layer thickness matters here. It's global resource we should be considering. It looks like there will be a number (2 so far, maybe 3, 4 or more later) of gold deposits with a total resource of somewhere around 2-2.5m oz which will have a value associated once proven up. The risk is how they will prove up given the number of shares in float and price today. Hopefully a JV will enable them to complete their exploration and realise that resource. GL

Agreed, I suspect we'll see a strategic partnership after the structural analysis work to complete exploration and share the profits. RM made reference to that a number of times. Better that than a poke in the face eh!

Yeah I heard that. The interviewer doesn't appear to know what day it is and seems to even confuse himself when speaking aloud! RM said they will make a decision after knowing the resource better before the end of the year (quote within 1-2 months) On the resource estimate requiring more drilling, that was in reference to a global resource because there are a lot more targets they want to explore further. So my guess is that they will make a decision on how to move forward (with reference to strategic options) after knowing what Sanama holds and from analysis of further desk based and geological analysis during the rainy season both done in the next 2 months. Guess we'll soon see.

The resource estimate was on Sanama this year with a global resource coming (of course) after more drilling..

3 year exploration license which I believe is paid in yearly increments and which has recently been paid for the next year.

Looks like resource on Sanama by Nov/Dec and suggestion of expectation for 1.5m-2m global resource with central mill eventually... RM also said there would be a decision (not sure what on) after the resource determination.

Yep wondering the same myself Gamekeeper. If we see the results mentioned in a footnote at the bottom of an "Operational Update" then they're not good... Hopefully it's just because there's a lot of results to process on the 8 other targets that's taking time...

Results were promised mid to late September. Since it wasn't last week, I'm expecting it must be this week..

Usually means that there's a large sell coming towards the end of the day equivalent to the volume of all the buys put together.. Anyone got any banter whilst we await results?

I'd suggest first waiting for results before topping up... Lots underwater here..

Hello Traderjoe86, Thoughts on Sula: Previously: A directionless company, badly managed but which resulted in an Iron Ore Jorc, valuable only to Shandong Steel at some point in future (when the price of IO picks up and when Shandong runs short at Tonkoklili) and also unfortunately affected by the Ebola crisis. Today, 'Rescued' 1 year ago by investment from Madini minerals with focus on gold exploration. Advanced the gold exploration through 2 large drill campaigns - funded by innovative equity sharing agreement, but which diluted this company quite a lot in the process. Final set of results coming imminently (hopefully this week) after which the focus will be on getting a maiden gold JORC on one of the 17 target zones by end of 2017. Future, based on forthcoming results and JORC, expectation to continue geological work and scout drilling to obtain a global resource over next year(s) subject to funding... Welcome and GL.
