The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I don't think he said that... I believe he said the grades in one intersection of one drill result were verging on bonanza. Plenty of videos around that corroborate that. I'm not sure that context was ever given in respect of the resource. Would agree with you if you can find some evidence to support that assertion.
This is positive and should allay any ethical concerns of child labour use in DRC, and contribute to higher value placed on its cobalt. Thanks for sharing Rev
*Nick Warrell stupid typos.
I'm not sure we have ever been told that we have a commercial prospect in Coltan, in fact I recall RM clarifying that the search for Coltan (originally started by Nick Darrell) was ruled out when Madini took over from NW in Oct 2016. The iron ore is commercial but due to the price of iron ore over the last few years and the likelyhood of the one single purchaser, it hasn't been sold. Yet. The gold hasn't yet been proven either way and to prove it up now needs a JV due to the remaining drilling needed over the large license area. The cobalt is also unproven, with exploration starting recently. Let's give em a chance to see what's going on in the drc before judging them on this one. But they're doing what junior explorers do. Explore.

Yeah, always, best time of the day! Blimey wish I had some ready teds to invest, if I did I'd probably go into gold given what's happening to all indexes currently. I was annoyed in missing out on Greatland Gold recently as they look quite prospective. Otherwise no idea chief! What else are you looking at?
Coltan? Who said owt about Coltan Davie46? I don't believe a word of it either. Good job they're looking for Cobalt and not Coltan then ehh?! :)
Interesting articles, thanks for sharing. I also read yesterday about a surprise increase in royalty payments for miners in DRC : http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=T&ct2=uk&fd=S&url=https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/congo-surprises-miners-with-last-minute-changes-to-legal-reforms/43866978&cid=52779785753779&ei=xeZyWuHrJYGogwfZqLrQCg&usg=AFQjCNEyVkLfnc0Rh9JDTZ48-fHpaJZI6g Also, good to see RM on the campaign trail with lots tweets and links to Cobalt news on Twitter. IG doesn't have obv, but I use donchian channels which are more or less the same idea. I'm seeing a break to the upside of the donchian with a supportive trend to the macd, stochastic and RSI on the weekly chart. Share a pic of the obv if you can!
Actually looks like a bit of a break out is starting to form here (so long as price action holds). Lots of volume is a good sign also. GLA
Lol, way I see it, it's worth a punt, so I thought I'd add to my holdings....
Lol, that makes the rest of us who got in 4 years ago highly insightful! Roger was on the campaign trail yesterday. I counted at least 3 interviews (vox, proactive and blytheweigh). I didn't realise until I saw their new website that they held two license areas prospective for Cobalt. GLA
Here buddy, been busy since the recent birth of baby Swanley. But keeping a weather eye here. Hope you're well and Happy New Year to all in Sula/ABM and fingers crossed for Cobalt/gold JV in 2018.
Haven't you seen Die Hard? "It's Christmas Theo, it's a time for miracles"!
LOL! RNS due for fund raise to pay for Nick's leaving cakes tomorrow. Anyone for a scone?
This is a good thing for Sula, no more freeloading, so looking forward to the Geo analysis due soon and then hopefully a JV or farm out.
Lol @ Paulo Maldini! :D I think any of these larger companies operating in West Africa today could be contenders: https://www.moneyweb.co.za/news/industry/west-africa-continents-gold-mining-hub/ https://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/precious-metals-investing/gold-investing/africa-ghana-mali-burkina-faso-iamgold-roxgold-true-gold-randgold-perseus-askano/
My money's on someone bigger... Not Madini (or even Maldini as it's often incorrectly spelled!) Think of the larger gold producers operating in this area...
Well yeah I guess that's their prerogative as they did invest £400k into sula a year ago 😀 I suspect they wouldn't struggle to get a jv if the company saw their imminent structural analysis results and we're able to get sula 'on the cheap'... Have a look at some of the portfolio of gold projects owned by one of the large gold producers in Africa for example... Many prospects of several hundred ounces or less, very few multi million ounce prospects... Lots of scope here, but time will tell. The market likes this news.
What's the evidence that it's "set in stone" Matt? If it's a jv, then the company coming in will supply the driller at their cost. And if that happens to be eqd, who cares?! Objective here has to be to get the rest of the license area explored and all gold assets proven up and a jv would do that nicely. If people are holding for a mine, that's a lot of risk from today, if they're holding for a resource, that will be less risk (but still risky) with a jv.
