We do still need the governance review and finance and then I think we will see a nice turn, maybe slowly creeping back towards .4-.5 as people start to see the progress over the coming weeks.

TRX being on site the other day was interesting , looking at them as an organisation they are pushing around 5k/oz a quarter and valued around $110million. They have lower operating cost etc as mainly open pit.

One of the things that stood out for me from Robbie's interview was the fact that potential funders are interested as most of the capital has already been ploughed into the mine and they have a lot of equipment, they have exploration plans and results plus additional licenses.

For funding most of the equipment is already there ,and working . Its not like they are starting from scratch so I can see how it could prove to be lower risk then funding an explorer

To let the market know where we are and communicate with shareholders. Funding sounds like it's heading in the right direction so let's wait and see

ESG is incredibly important for any organisation, especially miners if they want to get investment and growth .

Maybe they have funds to do both now and gold production is in a better place , they did say they were taking bits off line.

We can only really know when we get factual statements in the RNS, the tweet was great and I can only hope the "funding being finalsed" is a bit hint and not simply a case of fishing for attention.

Hopefully they've learnt from previous pre-announcements

At the end of the day, as long as the next CFO is competent that's all I care about.

Get the funds sorted, gets the accounts in order and put the mistakes of the past behind us .

The reality is no one really knows if they are recent or not, there has to be a level of trust at some point .

Ultimately, the only guidance can be via official RNS. They stated governance sorted by the end of the quarter (end of March I'm guessing)

I'm expecting prospectus etc around the same time and then funding shortly afterwards .

I would rather they do a round of interviews once they have the financing and governance sorted as they cannot say anything in these interviews that we don't know.

Personally, I like the fact they are tweets business activity, it's better then silence surely....

Agreed with the comments, we've all had a tough few months but I think the company is making serious efforts to turn around.

Governance mistakes were made and OCIM pulled the rug, whether or not the two were related we will probably never do.

What I see if a company making serious efforts to shake off past mistakes and meet their goals, shareholder engagement via Twitter is great .

Would rather updates like this to let us know they are progressing, mining whilst we wait for formal RNS news. Keep up the good work GCAT
