The conversion will.only happy if they cannot pay the outstanding amounts , something I believe /hope they are trying to do with profit from gold sales.
Hence the raise being used for transactional fees, this is theory but is inline with the payments they've been making to them with gold sales thus far .
Guess we will see
Ultimately it will depend if they will manage to pay off ME from mining as they have been making payments, if they can make the final payments from mining profits then the dilution won't happen.
As per your statement, this is a theory until it actually happens and no one knows until we get an RNS stating either way, but yes the release of the prospectus would be helpful.
The important part will be A) Did she resign or was she pushed? B) Was she effectively carrying out the role?
Guess as always we should find out soon (ish), my hope is it's the funders/JV partners wanting their own seat at the table, I certainly would.
People come and go so I'm not worried about that, WWF would also look better on your CV.
With regards to the small placing (7% ish), whilst I'm a big supporter of the company the only conclusion I can come to is they used this to pay the legal cost (transactional cost etc) like you would with a mortgage to get the funding sorted whilst using the smelt money to pay off Mill End.
Obviously, until we have the RNS / prospectus no one can say.
The good news hopefully is we are going to find out pretty soon what the results were for Q2 (This should clarify) and then all the other bits. All going well, we can get on with the actual plan and move forward
I think he may be referring to your opening statement .
"This is why I said at the start of the year that I would NOT even consider touching GCAT again"
If this is the case, why waste your valuable time? Surely if something is a dog and you have no interest why bother posting ?
And yes, everything is aware and awaiting for the prospectus
It's with the FCA and awaiting approval, the FCA has a very long back log at the moment due to staff shortages which is impacting other shares.
Clearly states in the RNS they are awaiting approval.
With regards to the funding , I guess we will find out shortly but it states its to fund the transactional items for the funding to complete, we won't know until we hear ever way but hoping they are using profits from mining to settle the CLNs, at least ME which they have been doing already in cash which is the best thing to do.
Do a small rise to cover the other bits rather then have to convert ME

Yep, as the high grade isn't JORC compliant and an MRE not complete they cannot report it.
This is the key line and remember doesn't include Vim Rutha and others
With the work completed on exploration during this 18-month period the Company is confident that once exploration drilling recommences it can significantly increase the resources in its project areas.
Is this any different to when you take out a mortgage ? Typically you pay the fees upfront or they tack them onto the end.
My hope is they are using all of the free funds to pay of the "expensive" debts i.e.millend whilst taking cheaper money to pay the fees to get the funding and JV sorted
Note the use of the word " transactional fees" for funding of kilo expansion, run this through chatGPT to get some clarification
Sure, I can break down the sentence for you.
1. "The proceeds of the Subscription" - This refers to the money raised from a 'subscription', usually in the context of a financial transaction. This often relates to shares or securities in a company being offered to existing shareholders or interested parties. They 'subscribe' to these shares, meaning they agree to buy them, and the company receives their money as 'proceeds'.
2. "shall be used to fund" - This simply means that the money that is raised from the subscription will be utilized, or spent, on a specific purpose or a series of specific purposes.
3. "the transactional costs for the Kilimapesa expansion funding currently being finalised" - This suggests that there is a plan to expand a project, property, or business venture named 'Kilimapesa' and that this expansion requires funding. The 'transactional costs' are the expenses related to arranging and finalizing this funding, which can include costs such as legal fees, due diligence fees, administrative costs, and potentially others. "Currently being finalised" means that the process is almost complete.
So the entire sentence means that the money obtained from the subscription will be used to pay for the various costs associated with securing funding for the expansion of the Kilimapesa project, which is almost done being arranged.
Agreed, just sitting and waiting for the news.
Impatient wanting to chase rainbows have run along to prem or somewhere else , once we hit RNS they will be back and you will see the standard lazy messages from rainbow chasers wanting quick returns and not wanting to research.
