George Frangeskides, Exec-Chair at Alba Mineral Resources, discusses grades at the Clogau Gold Mine. Watch the full video here.
Fair point and we are all frustrated awaiting for prospectus/ funding . I'm very aware of the issues having been in this since it listed .
I'm just stating it doesn't do you any hard to kick your own share despite being frustrated, it also gives ammo to those who are looking for angles to deramp .
I've not ramped the share at all, i've posted the GCAt news from twitter etc and commented on it
Don't forget the two weeks down time end of June so they weren't processing this, from the twitter photos there were quite a few large stock piled on site during this period that were processed in early July .
Agreed, fantastic interview and very insightful.
Robbie was able to put context around the current mining operations, detailed restrictions and why they need the upgrades and funding , they are saying prior to upgrades their aim was for around 1800oz per QTR which is respectable.
The discussion on the potential JV partner was interesting, especially the fact they were also a potential funder for Kili and stated they wanted to do a JV for Tanzania as they found it so much more interesting.
Anyway, context is everything and the interview certainly helped at colour beyond RNS, stockbox will post the link over the weekend
I think/hope everyone in here agrees with this , we are making good steady progress but we do need the funding and prospectus to unlock full potential.
I suspect they are dragging heels to get ME out which is what I would like to see, hopefully both matters resolved in Q3 so we can get back to talking about mining and exploration.
I'm not pumping at all but I do believe in a share I'm invested in , just commenting on the facts as we see and the positives rather then constantly focussing on the negatives.
We all know about the prospectus and the potential for dilution, the RNS also states about the prospectus yet every time there is an RNS whether good or bad you only mention the prospectus. Maybe try commenting on something else and providing some additional balance and we won't call it out each time.
Anyway, I will leave it there and good luck whether you choose to invest or not
I've done my research and believe they will come good but also aware of the issues as we all know, I'm also prepared for the event that I may lose and it's all on me if that happens.
Today's RNS shows as a business they are progressing and making a profit , that's fantastic compared to where they were in early Jan, the prospectus whilst frustrating will come. Personally, I suspect they are dragging their heels as they want to pay off ME to avoid the dilution but just my view.
Hopefully no one is investing on my words or legalwolfs and making their own calls.
This is the same for every Enterprise are business, they cannot communicate anything that's market sensitive.
I work for a large Nasdaq organisation, worked for many others and you don't get CEOs turning up announcing news without telling the market first.
However he can give us insight into operations i.e. the business he is running and how things are on the ground, as an investor I find that quite valuable to get the story between the photos
I know, you turn up and tell us every time there is an RNS about the prospectus , your like a modern days shares Robin hood.
I still struggle to see why you waste your precious time here if you have no trust in the company and wont invest your money.
As an electric car owner myself I don't doubt the impact we are having on the climate of the planet, at the same time I understand electric cars are not quite as green as some would have you believe.
You have to extract it which usually involves prestige environments being dug up and polluted using diesel tools etc and a fair bit of emmisisons , once the car is made it's better providing the electric is from green sources.
Green hydrogen is the way forward but still needs batteries if using fuel cell so still have them, sadly I don't think there is any clear answer at present but we cannot just carry on like we are either.
Anyway back to GCAT , this will be a slow steady burner maybe more if they deliver on their goals
@watcher most people are chasing lithium etc .
Ultimately, only worry about your own research and what the fore ast for gold is and the economics, you cannot trust anyone in this game apart from your own intuition.
If it's not right sell , as long as you are comfortable with the decision that's all that matters
I think this shows progress given the dire situation in early q1, I don't think the SP was ever going to rocket.
This is a slow burner and they need to get the funding and prospectus but it shows they are a viable gold producer.
I believe it will take 12-18 months for the story to show it's potential and there is a lot , everyone has to make the right decision for themselves though
Looks like work is progressing well on the new larger HL, hopefully ready to go for Q4
We hope everyone had a good week. The 2nd quarter results are out - click this link if you haven’t already read them. https://londonstockexchange.com/news-article/GCAT/corporate-update-and-q2-2023/16070023
Congrats to the Kili team on a solid performance.
Robbie is chatting with shareholders later today on the Telegram group - 5pm UK time.
Another solid weekly performance at Kilimapesa. All departments had a good week culminating in 2 smelts as planned. Well done to the entire team 👍🏻.

There is though, if required there is finance to draw down from Orca $4 million if required plus the profits from the mine so I think your statement is misleading, they obviously have ME to sort which they have been doing and made two payments last qtr
Agreed though that until the deal for the new finance is RNS'd and funds drawn we cannot assume we will get it as happened with OCIM.
Today's RNS is positive, ultimately some will sell on it and some will buy. I don't know many Gold producers with our market value that have just managed to produce 1/2 of their MCAP in a qtr with a profit based on ASIC.
