Robert Bernhardssen is a Social Democrat and he's been gunning for us for a couple of years. Good to hear him apportioning blame right where it belongs. That RNS was an instant pick-me-up, I was beginning to crack yesterday with all the wretched politics. Now, just five days to go, we hope.

I really, really wish there was a good answer to that. The only thing I can think of is that Sweden is according to statistics one of the happiest places in the world in which to find yourself.

Pretend to be nice....but so did you know who. What they are offering is more welfare! How do they propose to pay for it? A huge proportion of Sweden's jobs in the public sector are taken up by immigrants...and the economy is looking pretty good, with 3% growth, better than most in the EU.

I would be absolutely shocked if the Christian Democrats would join an alliance with the Sweden Democrats.

Those are exactly my thoughts, Pocko, the simple fact that Mr Lovfen has 9% more support than any other leader puts him in the best position to negotiate an alliance. but we shall see, very interesting, only a week to go. I think like him best, but I could change my mind. Only a week to go......lol !

To us who gets in....the country has a mining policy and only that applies to us.

The Sweden Democrats are the anti immigration party that the other parties have said they will not negotiate with: they are Nationalists, their name is a good clue. Annie Loof is the leader of the Centre Party that received 8.6 of the vote, 0.6% more than the Left Party with 8.0%; not really enough to make her a king maker.

These are the latest numbers:

Social Democrates (S)...28.3%
Left (V).......................... 8.0%
Green (MP)................... 4.4%

Moderate Party...............19.8%
Centre Party..................... 8.6%
Christian Democrate........ 6.3%
Liberal ............................. 5.9%

Sweden Democrate........17.5%

True, but don't forget the Alliance were in Government from 2006-2014 and they were chucked out A much stronger alliance would be better and every party is pro mining except MP and possibly V.

I was about to say the Riksdag opens on 25 September, 14:00 hours....should be interesting. My guess is that Mr Lofven will manage to pull it off and make a new alliance.
