Lars Hjalmared (Moderate Party) is the Riksdag Member for Goteborg and a speaker on The Committee of Industry and Trade (Chairman I think). Mattia Karlsson, Riksday Member for Luleo (Moderate Party). I've noted ten Members of the Riksdag have voiced their concern over the delay deciding this, at least one from each party except MP... and that's a fair amount of clout...and five others about the general inadequacy of the process.

No new mine on virgin land has been started in Sweden since the then Northland Resources mine in Kaunisvaara in almost 13 years. The current situation can be explained by various reasons. The overall however, the picture should also worry the government. As you say, FarEnd, this is a discussion board and it's only natural that it gets a bit rough sometimes, we just have to roll with the punches, don't we, when someone comes back fighting. ;-)

There's another component to this buyer/seller business, isn't there, and that's the size of the deal. Al remarked on two big buys, and while we can assume the big buy (or sell) went to a single person we can't assume it was the result of a single sell...and that makes it different, remarkable as Al said, whatever spin you want to put on it, it's two big buys. ;-)

The proposition that for every buyer there is a seller must be true if an actual transaction has taken place, but it isn't really true that everyone who aspires to be a seller can be a seller, because there really, really must be a buyer, and the hopeful seller cannot be a seller until there is ....the same of course for buyers, it's liquidity in the trade. Surprised you didn't pick up a few for yourself FarEnd, it was a very tempting offer but you called it wrong I think. Anyway...I'm talking too soon as usual, plenty of time for this to drop without news. I'm hanging on to all of mine and consoling myself that Sweden might eventually wake up.

When this question came up last ( by which agency I don't remember and I think it was 2017 ) Mr Damberg stated that the law was enough, meaning the boundary already established and those were his exact words..."The law is enough". To which he also added that it would be dealt with "According to the book." Don't ask me which book.. I think somebody borrowed it and it never came back.

It's a bit of a milestone achieving over 70% Swedish ownership...remember when we were hoping for 50%.
