By " out of the way" I read it that all the input required to demonstrate it is not a UNESCO matter has been submitted by BEM.

The Project Kallak is a substantial fact and the Government has run out of places to hide, the KU Committee has called them out...wishful thinking's got nothing to do with it. Wishful thinking is that it could have been a mine by now which is what it was reasonable to expect when we first invested, 10 years ago. I'm engaged now with the current possibilities. ;-)

Ibjj....You can't say these years have not brought the decision any closer because the Application has been through a long process; it's been examined, passed and recommended by the Government's competent authority and examined a second time under different rules and passed again by the same competent authority, the Bergestaten; that to my mind is something accomplished even if agonizingly slowly, it must stand for something, there's a lot at stake and not just for us.

Linda Modig, Member for Norbotten County, isn't going to be fobbed off any longer, she believes Norbotten needs the mine at Kallak and she's going to fight for it.

I don't think it would be entirely the Company's task, there was a debate in the Riksdag last year in full support of the mining industry...and that's what's a stake, Sweden's position as a mining country.

Wotitsworth....I remember when Annie Loof was photographed with her pen poised over that document, the up-todate revised Minerals Strategy, which had been approved in the Riksdag in 2014 and we all thought we were on the last lap, nearly home and dry. Unfortunately, we got a different Government shortly afterwards.
