George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
The request we recently heard about should read 'for' not from...the request from The Nature Conservation Agency. Not sure where I got it from, that it was for the SSNC, but it doesn't really matter who it was from, does it. And so the Saga continues winding about in it's surreal sort of way. The thing that keeps us in, of course, is the treasure, the Iron. 😊
Morniing Toph...The answer is we don't know. We've recently learned that the Appeal is expected to be concluded by the first half of 2024, which is a pretty big window. An appeal according to the Book is supposed to be lodged within three months of the Decision the Appellant is appealing against. In this case the Sami were allowed extensions until early December 22, 9 months. That was all we knew. Then recently we learn that The Government has been given an extension to submit a response (presumably to a request for some information) which was early January and they asked for an extension and were given to 23 February but they replied on 15 February. The extension we recently heard about from The Nature Conservation Agency (I believe) we know nothing about. I would guess that all 'Actors' have been asked for a response to some questions. Hope that helps.
I love these translations:. From Placera Forum:
"Don't you know that they have sped up the processes, at all levels, regarding mining establishments? It doesn't take years anymore. Sorry the pessimist, but you are out cycling."
Thanks Bailan.
Hello Sj...No the news from the Government wasn't at all unexpected but it was more positive if you can have more positive than the original, long delayed wishy washy sort of yes we need mines and this is a good one but the Sami wont like it. And Magdalena Anderson has also recently spoken in favour of it at the Jokkmokk Market. We think time is running out for the Appeal process...and then we get spooked by news of that further extension because we don't know what it means. And we're feeling unloved and sold down the river.
1. Why would the sp rise to 2p when we know what's planned?
2. Why did the sp rise so suddenly and why did it then fall so fast?
The answer to both so far as I can see is that we don't know. The sp rose in response to The Government's opinion submitted to the Court. Then out of the blue we got the news that an extension had been granted to The Nature Conservation Society for a submission from them which we didn't expect. That extended period is only up until 23 Feb. but it just seemed to spook pi's and it happened before the announcement of the fundraise, which we expected. And that hasn't gone down well because of the reverse split; supposed not to affect the value of our holding or dilute it but that remains to be seen.
Just saying for the sake of discussion it's not my intention to dispute with anybody. Anything can happen in the next few weeks/months.
The previous Government was spineless and hostage to the Green Party and it was said on one occasion by a spokesperson from LKAB that they could pick Northlands up for nothing, just had to wait... but that didn't happen, private investors bought it and now it's Kaunis Iron and they're in the frame for providing ore to the green steel project. Certainly the opposition want us to run out of money and it's a feat we've managed to survive so many years. The EU are tightening up on laws for mining permits and that might help us in the next stage. I think the current BOD between them have got the right experience to manage it, it would only take one of them to sell it off. I hope so anyway. atb.
My shock and disbelief is about Navalny though disbelief isn't the right word for it. The fundraise here was entirely expected and we don't know the details of it yet. We're an AIM junior minor, expecting a rerate, anything could happen any day. A fool thinketh himself wise, a wise man knoweth himself to be a fool.
