A bizarre point to make it think - not sure what the closing point was. Perhaps your point is valid if you were invested in the Ukrainian stock exchange.
I can't imagine if you ask Darren for a few sovereigns in return for your shares, he'd likely do so. All the stock market is is a proxy to facilitate paper ownership of an asset - often those assets are "intangible" simply as a result of where they are. An ETF's no different in that regard.
Holding physical doesn't benefit from the compounding growth / potential that a stock has. Assuming 2m ozs for MTL right now, our current mcap gives us a 240-280 USD cost per oz which is absolutely mental. If you've got a single gold bar, any price deltas will be limited by it's own weight because it's values already completely baked in. Zero compounding potential.
Short term we're considering 2bn to be fair, i personally think it should be closer to 4bn.
15p seems to be the new platform, I think we're due another rocket. The slightest whiff of update from DB should really send is flying.
