always money to be made on a liquid share such as SML, no large holder has sold any shares, at all, however, the turn over of shares over the past months, almost year, exceeds by a huge margin any one's holding and equally at each price point and the subsequent drop in sp that would require a large number of investors to have bought and sold within a few days at a loss, on a very large number of occasions. The churn of stock has been very large and the recylced shares are just churned again and again, taking the sp down, and lets say at £3000 a point, could be a lot more, it's a profitable game.
Equally it's a profitable game when at lows and sentiment low to turn it around and go long, we have a nice gap up to 2.5p+ to aim at and with news flow improving very likely a lot higher.
Who would do such a thing, who would make money from such an action, and there are a number of ways a short can be played without a declaration. There are a number of parties that can earn money in a period as this and one thing about aim is that a liquid share will be providing a profit for someone either long or short, they are rarely left to drift either way. The good news is it will change, and importantly look to who will gain also from a rising sp as we go forward...the games of Aim ;-)
