good points, entry timing is a big factor, however, the fall in sp at SYM was an unforseen aone, equally it was based on misinformation and two year old news that had been debunked earlier, however, it's easier to generate fear than cinfidence and it is questionable why the story was run with no eveidence or time for SYM to respond etc...that aside nothing has materially changed, in fact things look materially better and the next few weeks and months should provide a good uplift in the sp if the BOD deliver as we and they expect.
Imo you have to have a generally counter intuitive nature to share 'trading/ investing, it is typical for folk to consider sell out of a position when a share hits the lows due to a lack of news flow or like currently the sp has simply fallen away for no material reason (false news story aside) , and by lows I mean a technical low on a chart. RSI indicators of 30 or les suggest lows and oversold, the ideal position to actually enter a trade for a lot of traders, equally it is often the point a lot of 'investors' start to consider selling out (interesting dynamic !), so from a trading perspective this is ideal entry time (rsi currently 27, so a good entry) and I would suggest from an investor perspective it is close to the time traders will enter, so selling out a losing/low position ahead of a possible upturn in volume is unlikley to be the best move, Providing all is materially still the same as when first invested or indeed propects are better as they are here imo, the low points (even if they drift for a week or three) are often the wrong moment to jump out as others will surely jump in at some point on any oversold stock...it tests your patience but a share price is a lot more than simply buys v sells = the sp, there are many other factors at play often, however, early entry protects you to a large degree from the variances and someones early entry here has been someone else's exit at the lowest point. As a trader/investor I will not personally be jumping out at the point I would enter if not holding already, my entry initially was 15p, sliced profits all the way to 30p and we find ourselves at a better entry with better prospects ahead ;-)
