I reckon the seller is Suay Chin (or, more precisely, parent company company. Thats a lot of shares to churn. There is clearly a buyer, but who? Hainan? That would be getting close to compulsory bid, or an attempt to take it private, or relist on an exchange out of london (who could criticise that...given the talk of how London's valuations are up to 25% less than elsewhere)

To me the battery grade lithium hainan is after is aimed at supplying the batteries to the brics/associated markets ...europe does not want reliance on china, and has its own lithium plays...equally the us has access to domestic and south american resources. Having said that ganfeng took control of largest resource in mexico

I dont think the government of china would allow their access to, investments in, strategic resources, to be compromised...would the usa?
