The sp has gone from higher highs and higher lows consistently for 5-7 trading days (approx)...were/are people buying into forward knowledge? So far (since I bought at 25p) we have not seen large insti selling. There was `ceiling' selling at 40p, are we at the lower end of new range? Will be interesting to see.

People will think I have over-extended....rio vs WG at this moment, for me its WG...but its all an educated guess. ...I think KOD is undervalued, for instance.

When Blackrock start to go back to and below their holding some 3-4 weeks ago, I might start worrying. That is because I believe Blackrock is highly networked and has insider information.

Each to their own...sometime will be a good time to buy...I have no crystal ball...all I know is that there is no major insti exit (and I assume they have insider information). I also assume Woods 6+bn order book and Apollo bod for OEG group is indicative of the demand in this sector

Recent highs have been 45p, now 10% down. I bought at just under 25p, and again at 39p. The 25p buy was speculative, the 39p after research, and seemed a better place to park my investment in Rio Tinto. Rio tinto gone down, making a small profit on that trading pair. I think the Wood Group may have more upside in the next 0-6 months than Rio. So holding a company that has short term issues to continue to address (and awaiting results of the changes implemented). As against Rio, which has Trumps/US issues on minerals/raw materials to deal with. No advice, just my thinking, esp after Apollo investment in the much smaller OEG.
