Suspension, Sidara, WG3 Apr 2025 21:11
I really do not think official release of audited accounts is significant- all possible gremlins have been announced. They were expected/unsurprising for a profession bureaucracy, but what was positive was that the problems were confined to one division. I think the Projects division may think they are the drivers, and thus feel they can exercise power over, not only the accounts function but over the rest of the organization. Hence the identification of systems, structure and culture change. Nevertheless, accounts are historical, past adjustments may affect balance sheet, they will not affect profit and loss account. Further there have been changes taking place, legacy costs have been/are being addressed, orders have been expanding, there is a small shortfall in cashflow...etc etc...so its a company in need of mostly transactional changes, some transformational change in one division (and possibly the leadership, although I think this is too simplistic). In the meantime, Sidara has a great opportunity advanced by Trumps Tarrifs, and possibility of global recession). Just my evolving thinking.
