Although we had this news a couple of days ago, it is still really good news, and not everyone will have heard it. Ernest Giles is one of the most exciting prospects and I’m really looking forward to seeing some results. Yes, BB, it won’t happen overnight, but if we have assays by Next Christmas, it could be the best of presents!
Anyway, Newcrest update next week and very exciting Havieron times right now!

Newcrest have invested over half a billion Oz dollars on Havieron so far, let that sink in.

That market re-rate for precious metals, for sure it’s coming….timing could just be perfect for Havieron. I don’t have a crystal ball, but I do have a very good feeling. Now wouldn’t that just be the icing!

Hi Dip, absolutely agree! I was also wondering if Callum may be temped back with Ernest Giles.
Shaun is most definitely the right man to take us mining. He has pulled all the right strings to set GGP on a confident, well funded and super exciting future pathway.

IF we are all invested in Greatland , then we should all be hoping for a successful business.
Most of us are rather excited by the unique prospects GGP have. Starting with Havieron, which no doubt will be a gold/copper mine in the very near future, of which we own 30%. This alone is an incredible achievement.
Then we have Scally, Ernest Giles , Panorama, Juri JV +++ , all of which show promise.
Our new BoD are first class and will all be on board by January. Our CEO is smart and forward thinking. His design is to become a major player in WA, and in my opinion, he has the credibility to become just that.
Next stop FS and DTM,
Just my opinion - and simple fact. Not selling any of my golden tickets and will probably get a few more.

I can understand anyone being frustrated with the SP, but not unhappy with the leadership. Shaun has given GGP a backbone in never had before, has taken away as much vulnerability as humanly possible by getting a really competitive funding package and a stellar BoD.
Patience is all that is required.
IOT your constant whinging is so tiresome. I don’t believe you are an investor here. No one in their right mind would constantly knock a share that they would like to thrive. IMO GGP will certainly thrive, with or without you. In the words of U2.

Littlepost, you need to call/contact your broker/Barclays. They will not contact you.

I have a feeling that shares ‘out on loan’ do not have voting rights, only shares that are out on loan and sold as short have this ability. Voting rights are always with the owner of the shares. Not the borrowers.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

OTBR. Yes, SD was challenged with many difficult questions, including the resolutions. You should have come, but at least watch the LSE QA.
None of us like being down but the future prospects of GGP are phenomenal. Ignore todays asap if you can. Switch it off and come back in a few months. Whinging does nothing for sentiment. This leads me to wonder if you really are invested, as most true investors now have a handle on the company.

OTBR, pay attention. SD has said we have almost double the funds we need, subject to fluctuating costs. He feels confident we are in a good place . If NC decide not to mine then watch out Newcrest!!

As I already said….
Nobody has a crystal ball for the bottom, but at these levels , but, for me, topping up is a no- brainier medium or long term.
The company is now in a much safer place for a solid future. IMO. Please DYOR, There are some great interviews with SD online.
