Jambo couldn’t even be bothered to read it and you are almost as bad, of course the decision will not go on forever! Telfer needs feeding and we all need to have the best plan possible to do so quickly and efficiently.

Well the low sp gives me a chance to get a few more from time to time and bring down my average considerably on one account. The other one is already in a healthier state. Can’t top up isa as already at max until next year. Happy to wait a little while longer. Havieron is exceptional and GGP has so much potential. IMO of course.

I’m sure he was expecting it, as reassessment necessary for methodology, safety and speed. This was an NCM update. It wasn’t his call.

Everyonesawinner , Always a possibility, but I doubt that is the reason. More likely need a new plan to mine quickly and efficiently for much larger project.

General consensus is that NC were not expecting GGP to get funding as it has been very difficult, unachievable, for others in this market, and they were looking at a take over. If so, Sean has completely outsmarted them and played a blinder. SB now playing ball but will have questions asked as to why he didn’t take up the 5% , or accept GGP offer of 85m for it!

Newcrest finally admitting we have a world class asset, bigger and better than even imagined . Fantastic news and Shaun has had the foresight to set us up for greatness. We have the funding and the backing to see this through and beyond!

There are folks who know and trust Bamps. He never ramps or deramps, just shares lots of interesting information. I’ve started a new post because I don’t want to promote the other one! Anyone who thinks the new board of directors at GGP are non entities has do a lot more research!

.. allow me to answer that one using an old post, especially apt as we've seen yet another company struggle with funding in this current climate (sympathies to anyone affected of course, hate to see this type of thing for anyone) ...

Newcrest haven't spent near $0.5bn USD to decide not to mine.
They haven't started a PRODUCTION READY decline PRE-DFS to decide not to mine.
They aren't tendering and securing multi year contracts and manpower around production and processing related areas to decide not to mine.
They aren't spending time and money on processing and exploring for additional lower grade Telfer pockets to keep Telfer running until Havieron comes on-line to decide not to mine.
They aren't planning on Telfer facilities evolving into a regional hub in their portfolio as Telfer Province to decide not to mine.
They haven't also continued into additional farm-in phases with various JV partners in the Paterson Region because they plan to mothball Telfer and decide not to mine.
IMO Havieron is being green-lit and being more than fully funded for our share of costs, we will soon be owners of 30% of one of the biggest Gold/Copper discoveries in many a long year... and perhaps a sprinkling of nickel on top of the cake.
These funding partners, mining industry leaders and top tier Banks haven't agreed to come join the GGP journey because they expect NCM not to decide to mine.
DFS and DTM may be occurring into a weak market but IMO we'll see a production rerate to some extent and the sector will rerate at some point from what appears to be a near bottom.
It's been a very unsettling and difficult two years since the euphoria of 2020 but we mustn't lose sight of the huge and monumental fact we are now fully EFFING funded.

The only fence I'm sitting on is the one straddling our neighbours to see how things are looking for potential satellite ore deposits on the border of the Havieron lease :-))

It’s beyond me, but the sooner they are gone, the better. I think we are all above getting spooked at this stage!
