That’s because it’s suspended, look at the volume bought/sold. Probably just re-rating
I notice this all started in June, just as everything went quiet too. So we finally know what they have been working on! Well done AFC this is HUGE!!!!
It’s getting pretty boring now, I am sure in the background I am sure AFC are doing a fantastic job, they are recruiting constantly (saw another project manager job went online at the weekend) and AB has said multiple times that they are busier than ever…BUT we just want to know what they are busy on, how far along things are, geez we only know what the new building looks like because the company that fitted it posted there pictures. I don’t think an update is too much to ask for. Really wish to be honest I had traded this, at least my share portfolio in AFC would be growing whilst we wait.
I notice PM never released an RNS even for this news today. Just shows plenty goes on just we don’t always know about it, hence the research on this BB is always so important
They have cut the limit to £5k buy…wonder if something is brewing
Ade I assume your back in AFC now if your posting at 7am
Croc I know it’s just a scenario of good news but bad SP. Are people happy to sit and wait or just want SP rise now
YES
Exactly that, if this even rose to £1 tomorrow, I can’t see why anyone would sell or less they needed the money straight away when this is going to be huge in the next few years. The only negative is we are slightly reliant on whether Green energy stocks stay in ‘fashion’ as the whole sector took a dip over the last 9 months, but with it being talked about more and more and more sales roll in over the sector I can only see this getting more and more popular whilst the company also gets bigger and bigger. If you had say £50k in this at the moment, it could easily be worth £250k in two years time. Why trade it in for something else? Beats me
Just a yes or no will do…
Say just as an example next week we get a trading update and in there it says…
We are on track with All our partnerships, we are still expecting to achieve all our Q4 targets, we are have agreed a £5m sale of the L-Series to ABB for fast charging, big orders in the multiple millions are expected early 2023…however SP drops to 40p at the end of the week after news….
Are you happy with that week? YES/NO
Haggis with MCAP’s like Plug it shows just how much money will be pumped into green energy over the coming years. Can’t think of many sectors that have MCAPS that size with such little current sales
AIM that was my post ;) but Scarpa’s is just as good!!
Or less people are planning on getting out of AFC in 2021 I really can’t see why anyone is bothered about the price. If the SP was hidden it would of actually been a really positive week. We announced a £4m order with a huge company that are going to buy more and more. The director of the company has bought twice and the US green sector is heading in the right direction. Plug is flying and the UK will follow. Ultimately the MCAP is based on company comparisons and whilst all the US stocks go up it will drag the UK up in time, plus the interview with AB shows they are making serious progress. In a year there is absolutely no doubt the SP will be significantly higher. It’s too low at the moment but that only affects the ones trying to sell now anyway. I would love to know who the moaners think will achieve a bigger SP jump over the next 12,24,36 months? Will ITM reach £5b before AFC reaches £1b…no chance!!!
Gar you can’t possibly believe a guy would use £15,000 of his own money just to please a couple of traders so the SP doesn’t drop this week…seriously
About 20 mins ago there were two sells within a minute, totalling over 250,000 shares. I can’t get my head round why someone would sells that amount of shares at 58p. If they were long term and in big profit they must of sat on it for a while so why sell nearly 20% down from two weeks ago, you would just wait. And recently there hasn’t been a big enough rise to get to a sell price. Would love to know why they sell.
Year end update will surely be within the next 30 days, otherwise it will miss this year. Can’t see them leaving it until the week before Christmas
Cheers for the chart haggis, I think really it all depends if this is the start of consistent, regular news. IMO it is, they wanted to get this out before the trading update, then we will have the T/A which will give us confirmation more orders are still on schedule to come in and a little more info on the L-Series as to whether this is still a commercial product. They will know that it’s been picked up that it was the S that got the first sale not the L. I think whether they give detail about our other partnerships will tell us whether they have been shelved for sole focus on ABB or whether they are in advanced stages of those too. A few of them were due Q4 so an update on those is really required in the T/A so see if they skirt over them or go into some sort of detail. It’s a huge positive today and anyone doubting the company can have their minds rested…they didn’t have a blackout as they were going under, they have a world leading company buying from them!
It should move when ours opens. Still the real rise will hopefully be steady today and continue over the coming weeks
Well done AFC, that fully cements a long lasting relationship with a multi billion dollar company. Also explains why the year end update is delayed when they had this on its way first
AIM my thoughts are that if I was a company and was genuinely struggling for news that to give out as everything was getting delayed then the second the Middle East partnership came up I would of promoted it though RNS, news, everything as it’s something positive to give when you know you have no other positive any time soon. I wouldn’t shelve good news when it’s my only positive in H2
Let’s see if we can have a discussion without slamming AB for a second. Clearly AFC have had a partnership approved as a minimum and delayed year end report, also pretty much a news blackout for 5 months. Based on us assuming this is all in the plan, what do we think is the actual reason behind it? I wouldn’t think it’s a multitude of things I personally think we have a pretty strong partnership with ABB and a lot of our current workload we are doing behind the scenes is linked to them, so are just awaiting an order confirmation from them as number 1 priority. In meantime they are conscious that they haven’t released an order so are holding back as would really like to release that before a positive year end report along with a full report on COP26 partnerships and networking info.
Would be interested to hear other peoples (positive AFC options) for what has happened
