2020 was a wasted year. 2021 no comment. In hindsight should of gone for Heron first.

Will be alot of placing shares to churn so no rush to buy in the placing.

Looks like a lot of people missed the PM's announcement and are derisking before the decision. Seen it before many times.

The last results were great.

FOMO will drive this up towards the end of the month in anticipation of the deep drill results

This may retrace a little but the results were certainly good enough to attract attention and I believe that there will be a material rise at the end of the month as FOMO steps in for the deep drill results. I am holding for now.

I would spend it participating in a drill in a different jurisdiction.

I held 4m shares in GGP and sold at 2p. Boy was I mugged of nearly £1m. I am not repeating here. Not saying my holding will be worth nearly as much but it should be a tad higher than 1p.

Some people always sell in a RNS. Real rise is likely to come later.

I have the same feeling as I did with GGP. While people rushed to sell, I have increased my position nearly 10 fold.

What we need is a massive area of average grades. Bring it on.

On the whole the best time to buy a share is after a placing when major news is anticipated. The cancellation of the death spiral financing is also a major buy sign. This is likely to move on hot air. Buy and hold imo.

But I do think 2021 will be a great year for BRD.

However, their plans are ambitious and will cost money, so I have serious reservations that we are in fact fully funded. The cash balance was a lot less than I hoped for and is misleading in that it does not reflect costs payable such as wages, power, materials, etc and the value of diamonds may possibly exclude diamond auction costs.

I also do not like the delay in the resourcing upgrade

RNS says

Cash and near cash on 30 June 2020 was £500,000, excluding restricted cash, and as at the date of this report is £2,100,000. This includes committed funds of £235,000 due from Teichmann from its subscription in July 2020, and approximately 2,860 carats in stock at an estimated value of $330 per carat.

In my days, cash was cash, debtors were debtors and stock was stock. Now they are all cash. Lol.

What about current liabilities such as power and salaries. Are they not cash as well.

Of course I have, but they were still far worse than I expected and more depressing is that it looks like they are a couple of months behind on the resource upgrade. The cash burn here is high and I have a gut feel that at some point another dilution will land. Fingers crossed for more big diamonds.
