For whats on offer this is now looking very cheap to get bought out

Well as the MCAP descends towards £100m the vultures will be watching ready to make a move.

With production of over 20k bopd and reducing debt, a few people must be thinking that they can make a better job of running the operations than the current bunch of clowns.

Sales were only £61k today. I would have thought if the results were being circulated the sales would be much greater.

Some of the problems here are:

- Existing oilfields are in decline.

- It will cost money to develop any new discoveries

- The global market for oil seems to be in freefall.

- Management has admitted Jacobin costs have overrun but given no detail

- The PR here has been poor and it will take time to build up trust again.

- There will always be sellers but very few new buyers are being attracted.

- People are panicking and offloading before the results.

The way to get the share price moving is:

If Jacobin successful as a commercial discovery with good flow rates.

Confirm how the field development is going to be financed. TRIN cannot borrow the money, the market would prefer a jv option rather than a discounted placement.

If Jacobin is non commercial:

Confirm how Trinity takes this forward and clarify the current financing position. Again the market would prefer a jv farm in rather than a placement for any future drills,

Finally if management believe the company is materially undervalued and the share price continues to slide, simply place it up for sale to realise a decent quick return for shareholders.

I've noticed despite the big share price rise and purchase volume there is hardly any mention of 88# by retail investors either here or on X. Always a good sign meaning folks are still loading up and taking their positions.

The stop loss theory is possible if they wanted the shares overseas to fill a big order. If so someone just got mugged.

Maybe even a predator taking a stake.

If the sole reason is warrants could be a quick 10 to 15% trading op. I'm going to do a bit of research no other obvious issues

We should all sell everything and invest it here. Our cars, houses and yachts. Then we will all be rich beyond our dreams.

Think it may be some of the warrants that were exercised in the year. I didn't spot any big sales directly after they were exercised. If so watch out more big sales may be on the way.

That's me sold out of PANR and into 88E. Lots of news coming from multiple fronts. Bring it on.

Just remember the drill was expenses and costs have exceeded budget. We need a successful Jacobin update to kick start a bull run or the MM's will bring this down again.

Yes it is a bargain but it could well do with some better PR, and by that I mean engaging with a few promoters who have a big following on twitter etc.

I think Jacobin is a big discovery but do your own research. We should know next month. If it is a discovery they should have access to borrowings to develop the field or do a bit of a farm out.

Nice to get this out of the way so early. We can now buy into 88E knowing there is no imminent fund raise. Lots of new flow coming on multiple fronts over the next two months. Should be in for a decent bull run. Watch out for the warrants around the early 40's.

There hasn't been much interest here lately but that doesn't mean that the traders wont arrive in mass near the time. All they need to do is spend a bit of the money on the paid promoters and after Xmas we have lift off. May be wrong because its only a flow test and not a drill, but seeing this has been classified as a multi million barrel discovery it could get very interesting indeed. Especially as our MCAP is much lower than PANR's. My advice is hold now and load up after the placing.

I think the flow test is funded from the last raise, but they will need ongoing working capital plus money for the new project. The raise is imminent and there are a lot of hidden placement shares being forward sold today

They have acquired alot of decent acreage. Could be a jv or takeover on the cards especially if the well gives decent commercial flow rates.

I am reconsidering my position here. That duster zone was no higher than my wife and although it had high pressure the chance of it being commercial was minimal. However, the drill encountered over 290 feet of net oil pay so there is a much higher chance of these upper zones being commercial. Seeing TRIN are already producing nearly 3,000 bopd, this is looking cheap, so I am going to take a gamble and load up this week. DYOR

Im out. This well is too costly, problematic and likely non commercial flow rates. Not saying they cant overcone it but I see better less risky buys.
