JMAX, can't disagree about the lack of an RNS. My view on the new delay on Kenya is that it is down to the riots and terrible loss of life. On the one hand you can't propose raising taxes again due to IMF pressure, and on the other hand, a matter of days later, announce approval of O & G development with dubious benefits for the masses. The Sp was going down on small volume before the riots - just normal manipulation being carried out by "the industry".

Agree Starboard, I heard them on the call, but that being said it's hard to see what will attract new investors into Tlw with Kenya kicked down the road again. I said after the January 24 update/outlook that unless there were things going on behind the scenes, it looked like Tlw management had decided to take the year off. It does look like that has come to pass. Accordingly I have reduced my exposure today.

Remember the "deadline" is to finalise the recommendations, not to announce them. This could play out over the next 3- 6 months.

Some are over thinking this or stating the obvious. There were ongoing discussions with two Indian companies and the reason they stalled was because they were looking for clarity on the stakes. When Tlw got 100% it was only ever going to be a question of what stake Kenya would be gifted. FDP approval was/is tied to this. There are signs that there may be agreement. I can't believe Dhir is doing things sequentially. In other words if/when we get approval we'll start looking for a partner. If that is the case, then he's worse than I thought. No need for complex structures - Tlw needs a lump sum and carried interest from India or China. My bet is India.

What was Roald Goethe (a seasoned Oil investor/trader) thinking of over the last 9 months, selling his Tlw bonds to invest in millions of Tlw shares at up to 38p? As for our CFO paying 36p recently........Well time will tell - there's enough in the Tlw story to keep it around existing levels without Kenya. I'm not selling until the picture is clearer.

I suppose if you were angling for a substantial piece of the action, you would not want to come across as overly enthusiastic, now would you? Judging by the body language of Dhir at the last update, I would bet a deal was almost done. What kind of deal, who knows - his track record is not good.

What's this? Is it Anton v the rest? I'm not sure what is going on because most of the posters on this topic are filtered but one thing I do know is - Anton is transparent for being long on Tullow and openly admits to ramping occasionally. Constant character assassination has ruined this board and it is infantile. Most of the posts seem to be from boy traders gambling their lunch money and suffering pre-adolescent lack of confidence. It's a pity................

The "review " was extended to the 30th June - if you are looking for the date for a decision, there is none as far as I am aware.
