SP is back to where we started the day. People can stop soiling their trousers and all the insects can crawl back under their rocks until next time. There is almost certainly tons of live conversations with authorities, pharmas, suppliers, finance providers etc ongoing. It is difficult when there is a sea of red and lots of negativity- but remember why you invested, watch the interviews with RM and - above all - stay patient. Big news is on the horizon.

Good effort Tony - thanks for posting. It will of course be very sensitive to certain inputs and gives a good indication of how quickly that valuation might ramp up if you used more aggressive assumptions on profit margin (as someone suggested below) or PE ratio (a quick look online suggested pharmas are c26x currently and have typically been 20+ in the recent past) or even adjusting no of patients / allowing for govts stockpiling. Factoring in these you could argue a valuation several multiples higher. I personally believe this will get to double digit £s per share.

Good find - another high profile US doctor (Dr Eric Topol) saying Inhaled Interferon beta is one the most promising drugs out there. Who is he you may ask? I’ve saved you the trouble of searching Wikipedia below...

Nonsense to suggest Landsdowne only started selling because they had prior knowledge of the RNS. They have been selling steadily for a while. To be replaced by two big US II’s with a base price of £2+. If you have a negative view then sell out and be gone. Don’t do a Foxy Kiwi and talk things down to suit your own agenda. The rest of us were impressed by RM’s interview and believe there is something big happening behind the scenes. “A little bit of patience is required...”

True value will come out in the end when the cheque books come out from the big pharmaceutical companies...

In the meantime approval of SNG001 for use in Covid treatment should ramp the value up. RM says there’s not long to wait and I believe him.

Hopefully the sp will go to infinity and beyond!

News on COPD was always going to be about the results adding to safety / efficacy data - hence the first heading in the RNS was “Safety”. This is therefore a small but crucial stepping stone to bigger things, I.e. approval for SNG001 and potential deal(s) with pharmas. In the meantime more positive press and interviews with RM will help tick this along until big news drops.

Keep an eye on the link of major shareholders above 3% - The Landsdowne figure will need to be updated but the new US II is on the list already, so it should be updated in the next day or two. As people have stated it was probably Tikvah that swallowed up a large chunk of the Landsdowne sale and they will want a big return out of this. Landsdowne have already had theirs. Hold for gold.

Graking, I think it varies wildly from year to year, because of the changing flu strain, they have to guess what the likely flu strain will be like based on previous years strains and create a vaccine which will be best placed to protect you from it (if you read the small print when you have a flu jab - it will say something like this is created using a vaccine for a combination of Asia Pacific 2016 flu plus Europe 2019 etc etc). So it is not guaranteed to work. I imagine it will be the same with COVID. Hence we’re better off ploughing money into an effective therapeutic than a vaccine.

Seaking - you have been a constant deramper / negative poster here. The good news about the terrible advice you gave this morning (hoping that no one fell for it and got spiked) is that you should be sufficiently embarrassed never to darken this chat board again. So long.

Let’s remember macosta is someone who apparently sold his 2m shares last week - so either:
- he is sitting on £4m and still spending time talking nonsense on a chat board which makes him a loser, or;
- he made it up and continues to wind people up on a chat board for no reason, which - yep, you guessed it - makes him an even bigger loser.
I plump for the latter and will be filtering him ASAP.

I think it might be a week or so old because I can see some comments underneath asking about Synairgen from posters here! However I missed it first time. Anyone who hasn’t seen it and you’re feeling lazy - skip to 20 minutes in...

In the notes on the clinical trials website it says...

Synairgen has conducted randomised placebo controlled clinical trials of SNG001 involving >200 asthma and COPD patients. These trials have shown that SNG001 has:
-been well tolerated during virus infections
-enhanced antiviral activity in the lungs (measured in sputum and blood samples)
-provided significant lung function benefit over placebo in asthma in two Phase II trials.

This is suggesting that COPD results were good then. So why the wait over the RNS? Could there be some other (good) news which ties in with it?
