Markshares - you’re completely missing the point. They’ve already sold £80m of shares at that price and were massively oversubscribed. They are now offering another £7m to existing shareholder...which will probably be oversubscribed too. IMO the price won’t get down to £1.75 barring any external market forces or bad news.

I don’t agree either. I gather he has AZ shares held from when he worked there. I’m sure there are processes whereby he has to declare his interests. A petition like that may make SNG shareholders look bitter.

In December 2017 Pharmaxis took on full operational responsibility for the programme following revision of the terms and conditions of the collaboration. Synairgen retains an interest (circa 17%) across all fibrotic indications of all partnering proceeds and has no further obligation to finance the development of programme candidates.

All the recent news (Covid situation worsening), scientific papers (positive for interferon) and publicity (Times article, conferences) etc makes me much more confident in this than I was a month ago. The SP has been heading in the opposite direction, but I am very happy with my investment here and have been adding more. Fingers crossed for EUA approval, swiftly followed by deal/license with Pharma to ramp up production. It will be needed urgently.

Im not sure they can HTFU as the main thing holding them back in my opinion is approvals - which is out of their hands. Once they get the go ahead I think they can ramp up production and accelerate deals with big pharmas. I don’t think it’ll be long.

Possibly some kind of deal with one of the big US investors? Either way it will allow SNG to get those 100,000s of treatments per month into production - which is great news.

...I didn’t get the chance to add any sub 1.40. That was a crazy price. It just shows you shouldn’t panic when the market is volatile but there are strong fundamentals. Holding until big deal with pharma/takeover...and will be adding next time that sort of opportunity arises.

Scinv - the RNS I think you’re referring to was a half yearly update! They are generally factual and backward looking. There was, of course, an additional RNS which outlines a (back door) route to market while we await proper news on approvals/deals with pharmas. So it was a positive interim update while we await the big one. Chill your beans.

I’ve just watched the Sachs presentation from yesterday. Very good summary and reassuring. The science is proven, they are lining ducks up with regards to manufacturing and financing (the latter seems to be the sticking point for the market) and so it’s we’re just awaiting confirmation of approval / deal(s) with pharmas to jump to the level we should be.

I noted the presentation from RM said “100,000s treatments” I.e. plural. Hundreds of thousands? 200,000 treatments plus? That is a lot of treatments expected to be produced in 2021, only 3 months away. We will surely get news soon to understand how they will be going about doing that...

Spot on Dave. This is just the beginning and will hopefully be the first of many positive RNS - EUA/FDA approval, confirmation of successful results in expanded trial, partner in the US and hopefully takeover. Hold for gold.

Takenorisk- I understand frustration at the wait, but I’d much rather RM spent his time talking with big pharmas and saying ‘add another zero to that chum’ than sign off on pointless RNSs. Some companies RNS when someone is speaking at a conference or going to the toilet etc. I’m certain the silence is because they’re all working hard behind the scenes. We’ll find out for sure soon.

Exactly - everyone here is confident in their investment particularly as momentum builds but others need an RNS before they jump on board. Until then we have to put up with SP trickling down and all the negativity that brings from the dreamers. Stay strong and hold for gold.

This suggests they’re targeting 820 patients. And makes reference to 9 hospitals across the UK. What I find strange though is none in London - surely that would help get the numbers up?
