Never take notice of doommungers that caught me out couple of years ago and was in the red by over 100k!. Took a lot of averaging down to get back in the black(blue). listen to the good guys on here and make your own decision using fundamentals. They dont always get it right but a lot better than average and thats all you need:-)))

pax number sin IAG still very high with high ticket prices. Expect good figures for Q4 given most people have now used up their airmiles which translates to higher cash flow.
Boohoo obviously wrong as now up over 3% from his morning post. I think Scotty put it succinctly ...
steady climb to 140 by end of month....

yer Oil is a 'usual suspect 'in deramping which means he's worried about his short position.
Even though i've predicted 131.3 close on Friday i now think i'm wrong given that oil has posted trying to save his shorts watch the SP rocket lol

indeed, oil spiked well above 100 USD, but that was a spike and fell rapidly. oil has always been a very volatile commodity, not one for the faint hearted!
And I agree with you completely that both sides of the coin must be looked at. I would go further and suggest deep scrutiny of all these stories -without getting into conspiracies and Qanon etc.
But inflation in double digits is because of the energy squeeze. It would be even higher if the Chinese economy was at full swing, Thank fully their zero covid policy is keeping the oil price artificially low as their demand is lower than expected, but that might change as they realise that you cant stop covid!
Is Zalensky corrupt? no doubt, like all politicians, but there are degrees of corruptness, none are acceptable but it is human nature, and I would much prefer a corrupt courageous politician who can easily be democratically removed, than one that has autocratic imperialist ambitions and is driven by a false sense of self importance. and does not care in the slightest the harm he brings to human life or world humanity .
No apology needed, i am not offended and thank you for being the bigger man, i only ask that you don't give creadance to the narrative that somehow Russia had a 'right' to invade Ukraine or was 'pushed' by the west to do so. That narrative is one that is espoused by the thousands of wannabe fsb 'agents' that spend all day everyday on various websites disseminating misinformation...
As this is an IAG BB , lets talk about that!
Straw poll analysis, which has no scientific basis, would suggest the middle classes whilst squeezed , are still going to spend money to get that comfortable seat in business as they would much prefer a nice memorable holiday to a new TV or a new car that they don't really need. the less well off will of course be even lesser well off but I dont think that will effect IAG as much as the likes of Easy, Ryanair etc.
Also, i'm expecting the SP to climb again soon as a bid is most likely to be announced for finnair /Norwegian which is a more natural fit than Easy...
You heard it hear first:-)

i respect you and many of your posts are on point. However, when Ukraine became independent, it voluntarily gave up its nukes. It also made an agreement with Russia to lease Crimea to Russia for 25 years. When Russia started to build up it's forces way back in '21 along the Ukrainian border, there were high level talks between the americans and russians. Pootin was warned directly not to invade Ukraine as it would become a quagmire and bring about world economic disaster. Pootin ignored the West's warnings. Now pootin has shown the extent of his stupidity, the west has no choice but to back Ukraine. Is Ukraine perfect, obviously not, but the alternative is letting a madman run riot across europe. last time that happened was when Hitler invaded Poland. You'll be old enough to have had parents that were born around the 2nd world war so will understand the sacrifices they made for us. Now that we are at war with Russia, economically and by proxy, there is no 'stopping' until the job is done. The job is done when Pootin is either removed from power or his army is so decimated that it cannot recover from the humiliation. Of course, it mustn't be total humiliation as rats backed into a corner tend to commit suicide. Not a good idea when this rat has nukes. So Ukraine has to take back all of Ukraine, including Crimea. Crimea is vitally important for both Russia's naval fleet but also the west. And this is the sticking point. The West wants to prize Crimea out of Russian hands back into Ukrainian sovereingtey as that will weaken Russia's ability to ever become a world superpower again. That means the West only has to deal with China's ambitions...not an easy task.
In all this millions are suffering needlessly. The Energy crisis IS a direct result of pootin's war and therefore inflation. Of course inflation had started to rise post pandemic but it was nothing like double digits and any suggestion that it was going that way is misinformation.
Speaking of misinformation, 'The real0007 & Meraviglioso' is the same person, but surely I cannot be the only one who noticed the same spelling mistake, syntax and grammatical errors. I'm not one for conspiracies but a russian plant? Would not surprise me:-)
anyway this should be about IAG, my apologies.

Zelensky has proved to have more courage than pootin, he didn't run when the russians invaded. He stood firm and was willing to be captured, tortured and die for his country.
Pootin on the other hand is too scared to even face some name calling from the G19 meak politicians so he sent his lapdog laparov instead...
And there is no doubt that IAG, thousands of other companies and millions of people are suffering because of inflation which is directly linked to the russian coward & crook. ... aka pootin
meraviglioso your filtered - pathetic insect.
taking a hit as expected but will likely stabilise once Thursday mini budget is out and likely climb next month on new set of inflation figures which are likely to show this was the peak, imho of course.
interim, day traders & shorters can have fun...or go bust lol

will drop today (imho) not because it was a Russian missile, it wasn't , (it was two ukrainian S2A missiles that missed their targets. polish awacs were monitoring the missiles), it will drop because of the inflation figures out today 11.1 %, thats the news....oh and republicans just took control of the Senate but not sure if that is good or bad news...
