If Pensana said in the recent GM that M&G, ASWF and ABSA have committed to financing the building of Longonjo, it would be a brave man to bet against it happening. The only question is, will the RNS come before the end of the month or will it land in July?

According to SmartPunter, Pensana are securing funding from a South African bank. I wonder where he got that information from.

speaking of on the back of a *** packet, your simple maths tells you that the company has 2 months left. i take it you will be removing yourself from this chat board on 5th august if the company are still trading at that point?

Anyone offering an update on funding outside of a company RNS is guessing or has inside information. The next time I personally expect to hear anything from the company is the date of the General Meeting on 8th June. What that looks like is anyone's guess.

For the first time that I am aware of Theorist has had one of my posts removed. The post referenced a downramping operation that was confirmed 2 years ago by a disgruntled employee called Phoebus. She went public and explained that a team of operatives were paid to target certain equities with the sole intention of encouraging retail investors to sell, thereby dropping the share price. One of the operatives went by the name of Fireant and once outed he deleted his account. Very soon after Theorist opened his account and he has systematically and almost exclusively downramped Pensana ever since.

Make of that what you will.

Interesting call that Tony, given Russia, China, Turkey and India continue to diversify away from the dollar. Not saying you are wrong but anyone that confidently predicts which way the gold price is going to go is a brave man.
