let's hope a few more rises and then on results day another 5-10% and we are done...can't wait...EZJ had 1200 flights the other day, in just 1 day (according to an article)..can you imagine how many IAG must have had?? looking forward to going back above £2.00...shouldn't take long now. happy with my JET2 shares too. Some people on here will be upset by the rise...oh well...we knew it was coming...and the bad news for these people is that this share will carry on going up...if they only knew the passengers carried by airlines these days!!!!..and there will be more to come...summer is here for another 2 months and we are going in the right direction now..GLA and DYOR.

Johnbri, today's up day is probably due to the sheer number of people travelling..Look at EZJ passengers at the weekend to give u an idea..also other reports on the news about scrapping quarantine with 333 countries and letting expats travel back to the uk without quarantine. DYOR.

BigBlue, you may find that next friday IAG will be up a lot more than EZJ..Results will surprise to the upside as we are already low. Hopefully Biden will announce something before Friday too. GLA and DYOR.

Ftse 100 looking to lose above 7000 which is very important. Next week , any positive from the results will send IAG shares higher and will be positioned for a bigger gain in September-October when US opens up. DYOR.

Let's not underestimate that when (not if) Biden opens up with UK, this share will be going up like a bullet. Not long to wait now as this will happen in the not so distant future. People are just hoping for a lower entry point, i think we have had it, that was the rights issue price of 84 pence. Results will be better than the low expectations and this dip has the results priced in already IMO. This is a BUY for me. But pls DYOR before investing!!

Marabab, you see, there is a big difference now. Last year when we were in lockdown, nobody travelled and nobody booked flights. Now, we have people flying and more people booking holidays and flights so the revenue is growing. At the same time a lot of people on furlough are largely paid by the taxpayer. Same as EZJ, their cash burn would have come down substantially.

A green close expected today in anticipation of results next week. We could be seeing £1.90-£2.00, i would be pleased with that. Can't lose passengers as all airlines do that at the moment! Ezj does the same. But most of the time they cancel one service and combine passengers onto another one going to same destination. Easy as that. They all do it. DYOR.

I use CNBC app and its live, it updates share prices every few sec.

Another good start, lets hope it holds today. With results coming up, people will be buying into it as it 's oversold. Results should be in line with EZJ, maybe a tad better IMO. £1.90-£2.00 is feasible by the end of July IMO. DYOR always.

Marabab, iag will only operate flights that are profitable at the moment, that's why there are 2 JFK flights today on BA.COM...as an example..so just look at number of flights today to figure out how company is doing. DYOR.

Marab, results might surprise on the upside as we are at a low point here. Also number of flights is up fivefold by my estimates. Every dip is an opportunity and at £1.59 it was another opportunity for me. Good luck all, and dont forget DYOR buddy!
