I’m sorry, but I find your post naive at best.I was in investment banking for many years and I can’t tell you that there is a big difference in market perception between an active and passive management .It’s up to management to create a desirable environment that attracts investors ,that includes both operational success and solid valuations ,particularly in comparison to ones peers. There are many things that can be done to create sustainable valuation growth that brings values to the correct level ,being active in that field ,or not is noticed and acted upon one way or the other. In any market investors are looking for a home for their money and it’s the ones that have all the components together that stand out.
At a time when the quality of our business is at its best and producing increasing returns,(I see solid renewal rates at good prices in many of our less talked about tlds, yoga steady growth, cassa growing again ,Wedding ,law , beer ,Bayern, nrw ,fit ,all providing good returns,as well as the ICM stock,)what do we talk about.,the poor valuation and changes to management..Why..? because valuation and operational success have become detached.
