UP UP and away - let hope the below is correct . We've all waited a long time
Based on 13 Wall Street analysts offering 12 month price targets for International Consolidated Airlines in the last 3 months. The average price target is 192.72p with a high forecast of 240.00p and a low forecast of 165.00p. The average price target represents a 28.78% change from the last price of 149.65p.
My average is £1.57 and like Scarlet i should have sold at £1.70 but that's hindsight. Don't shoot me down on this but my view is that interest rates at most properly going to fall and quite quickly and if its dept that's holding the SP down then the SP should then start to climb especially as IAG are making good profits and Pax numbers keep growing. So to summarise I'm sticking with it all the way to £2.50 then ill make a call
Had an early morning trip to Hamburg and was amassed at how busy the airport was plus the plane was full - not a spare seat then a late afternoon return and once again the plane was full put the airport was overflowing with people and this was at Stanstead. If planes and air ports are this busy every day then I'm sure that collectively we have all done the right thing to buy and hold this share no mater how annoying/frustrating its been - the results can only be good
The Babycham is on hold that's for sure - Not quite what i expected with the promise of great results. If it does hit the 150 mark then i will buy more as convinced this will get to around 220 by mid year. Hopefully the doom merchants in the BOE and IMF will apologise for talking the economy and country down and sack someone. Barring a big escalation in the war or a massive fall out with China it should be a good year AIG
Like most of us I'm now in profit but iv sat with this share for so long that I find it hard to sell :) I cant help the feeling that this has quite a lot more in the tank although i cant justify that with any analyse (finger in the air) but so far my gut feeling has served me well .
I sold the wife's Porsche to buy these shares (didn't go down well) so I'm completely committed but wont sell anytime soon although i agree that at 200 there will be a lot backwards and forwards in the SP and a great opportunity for some day trading.
Why insult someone just because they have a different opinion than you ! It doesn't make you seem big or smart in fact the opposite. This board should stick to what its meant to be about and that's IAG not your view of who right and wrong in this war.
