So we finished up a tiny bit but i get the sentiment that the worm has turned - could it be time to crack open the Blue Nunn I wonder . It all been very interesting on here to day so have a great evening and fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Last night i watched an interview with a chap called Richard Tice of the reform party (never heard of him or the party before) and he had some great ideas on how to solve the UK energy problem which I think will gain some traction and could bolster our economy.
Hopefully a good day for us today after a shaky start
Well said
British Airways will cut roughly 10,000 short-haul flights to and from Heathrow Airport between late October and March.
The move is aimed at minimising disruption over the winter and some long-haul flights will also be affected, the airline said.
BA said it will also cut a dozen round-trips per day - totalling 629 flights - until the end of October.
I still have faith
In the press today - The price of Brent crude weakened another 1.8%, having been above $120 a barrel in early June. BP and Shell shares fell by about 1% today, but there was no respite for British Airways owner IAG despite the improving outlook on fuel costs.
Its shares dropped 3p to 110p as UBS’s analysis on airfare trends painted a mixed picture. The City bank said: “While we think fares will continue to show growth over time, the pace of increase is unlikely to offset inflation given a squeezed consumer.”
If i had the money id be buying . I understand the points made below but even a blind man could see there is no way this company will go under or would be allowed to go under. As has been said many times the planes are full and yes inflation is up at the mo but oil is falling and IAG is great value so have a little faith. £1.40 by the end of the year and if not ill but my hand up and tell you all I'm a muppet and not to ever read anything i post again :)
Sure is a bit feisty on here today - interesting how people with strong views always believe there right and cant contemplate any other point of view arnt they the type of people who start wars !
anyway back to IAG i think Sundezena is right that by Oct - Nov we will be very glad we bought this share..
