Just got in £20K at 108 p. I can't believe I was able to get in at that price. I thought it was going to open at 120 p or above.

Brilliant news if this is true. However, I'm a bit sceptical about this because I'm pretty sure that when insiders buy, they are legally obliged to report it. It hasn't been reported in the press and the transactions are listed as "Exercise of option" in the directors deals with no value assigned to them.

Citadel and Blackrock have both reduced their short positions recently and the overall short position has come down a little bit. Long may this trend continue.

That's superb news from across the pond and sets us up nicely for Tenet's arrival in the UK next week.

If the Tenet sales figures look good then I think the next bull run to 100 is on. I think investors would interpret good Tenet numbers as financial security for the cinemas and more importantly, the signal to studios that they can start to release the backlog of blockbusters. I think it has the potential to be seismic.

The uncrossed trade or UT represents the opening and closing auction bud. They basically have an auction at the start and end of each day, so the £400K to £900K number you've seen is actually the total value of all the trades that took place in opening or closing auction. It's not indicative that someone has made a big buy, although there could be some big trades in there potentially.

Haha. Well now that they're seemingly being unceremoniously kicked out of our 5G network, taking over our cinemas may be a neat alternative option.

Totally agree, Lenny. Star Wars The Phantom Menace was ****, but it didn't stop it doing well at the box office. There's nothing else on, so I think it'll sell well anyway. I've got my IMAX ticket booked for the first Saturday, so I'm doing my bit as a good Cineworld citizen!

More or less every Nolan film I've ever watched had a confusing storyline. Or at least it was to me anyway. Still a great spectacle on the big screen though, so I reckon it'll be alright.

idw is currently emailing Djhango Unchained to check that they know about the negative outlook on the Fitch ratings report and the poor German cinema attendance figures I suspect.

If you look at what Mooky and the boys have done here over the past few years, they're clearly following an aggressive expansion strategy. It would not be a surprise to see them try and expand into China once the business is back on its feet. Massive market with massive potential.
