Great post laidback mate. I genuinely do think doubling your money in one month is possible here and it is equally possible to quadruple your money within a year or so. Not to mention the absolutely sick dividend yield you could potentially achieve as long term holder here when normality returns.

Simply because firstly, after weeks of negativity, the tide is now turning in favour of Cineworld. Secondly, we’ve seen the price double in a very short period of time twice in recent history. And thirdly, because the price is currently depressed to a level that does not tie up with other similarly placed stocks such as AMC.

Toff - don’t disagree with you regarding market manipulation etc. But is it not the case that from this price, this stock is likely to recover strongly over the next year or so? The fundamentals are good and the CEO presumably has some faith in his strategy because he bought in big not so long ago.

I honestly think if the Tenet box office sales look good it's going to 100+ quite quickly. We've seen it happen here before in less than ideal circumstances. There'll probably be some kind of pull back at or above 100. But ultimately we will be back on course to recover to near 200 p sometime next year.

Those who were considering selling at £1.00 (myself included) would be well advised to hang on in there. No reason why we can't get to at least £1.20 in the coming weeks. Then £2.00 later next year.

US market is over inflated given where we currently are in my opinion. Especially some of the big tech stocks. A lot of FTSE stocks still look beaten up to me though, so more likely to go up than down. At some point or another, the big tech bubble will probably burst and a lot of that money will come back into traditional stocks. Plus there is also a lot of cash on the side lines at the moment which at some point will come back in.

I read about the problems they've been facing in Germany. Is it not likely to just be teething problems that will be sorted out going forward? From the piece I was reading, it sounded like they were doing OK in Norway.

It might be BS. It got everyone talking about how undervalued BT is when considering the fundamentals though, which must be a good thing.

If the price of copper continues rising then that should hopefully offset some of the cost involved in installing the new fibre.

Can anyone clarify if this business is still expected to declare a profit (albeit significantly reduced) in their September results? I've been going through the various trading updates / results today and it appears to me that they would still be likely to turn a profit, despite the significantly reduced passenger numbers over the past 6 months.

On that basis, the short term future of the business is secure and this looks like a strong recovery buy to me at the current price. In fact, it's better than that, because if and when a recovery does take place, this business appears to have good growth prospects going forward, where it can potentially expand further internationally and work to increase its share of the UK market.

I take my hat off to you indepth. You’ve just closed your position at AML, a company with, quite ironically, massive debt problems. Yet despite the fact you held a position there, you haven’t posted on the AML board once in the last 30 days! Your dedication to spreading the word regarding this share is an unhealthy obsession!
