I think it’s the update that counts? If they say Project Roan is on track then the pressure should be off? If we are going to be producing Cobalt relatively soon then that might also provide a boost?

To rerate surely we need to prove a few things beyond just being green? For most funds to invest we will need to prove solid cash generation and if we want the widest net of investors, to pay a dividend? If we don’t have these most larger funds won’t invest?

Hopefully we should shortly get a clarifying update on current production with the annual results!

Mikie, I think the short term requirement is for news on Copper going live which then provides a substantial and very long term new income stream. PGMs will go where they will!

My concern is that PGM prices are down significantly from Q1 due to lower car production so any higher production will be offset by lower revenue? It may bode well for next year if PGM prices recover? Still think we need Copper production in volume for the SP to make its next move up!

Mikie, I’m interested in why the recent placing was at North of 16p and hoping the quarterly update helps with this? I assume good news is on its way otherwise the placing would have been at a larger discount?

Personally as long as Cobalt becomes a nice little earner on top of Copper I’m not overly worried about the numbers being bandied about. What is more interesting is 40 years of tailings. Would have thought they would like to bring this forward if they can. Wonder if they’re looking to increase capacity further?

Mikie, if these numbers are going to be anywhere near true then we will need quarterly reporting in 2022 to see the ramp up? Big risk of over expectation otherwise!

A few points to temper expectations. The cobalt rich part of Elephant isn’t the whole £114m, just an unknown percentage? We only pick up 80% of the net income and it is not clear what the actual recovery percentage of the actual Cobalt is? Probably not the whole 0.08%!
