Suddenly realised why no update from JLP…FANG are reporting in the States and they don’t want to outshine!

Love to see a PE of 15, not convinced the market will give it unless the update is absolutely fantastic on future earnings!

Mammon, as Leon was quite excited about Copper recently and will share the reason in due time I would hope it’s the former? Maybe part of the delay is ensuring the necessary protections are in place prior to disclosure!

There is so much expectation on the update I wouldn’t be surprised whatever is published it won’t be good enough!

The piece that really stands out for me in this is about increased production rather than just the basket price. JLP are in a similar position, lots of new revenue sources coming on stream! Hopefully the update will confirm this.

Kaiser, I’m definitely a LTH but still want to see results. After all Leon was talking about this year being about deliver, deliver, deliver. The results will show he is?

I’m assuming this is reflecting the political situation?

It’ll be interesting how much cash has been generated in the last six months and how it sets JLP up for the next. Not sure whether this will be in the Ops update, assuming this arrives next week?

Still not as big as the Copper opportunity, although having both is a pretty good place to be!

Copper, some 350m tons of tailings, Kabwe 6m! I know where I’d focus!

Maybe it also means we should dial down SP rise expectations after the update? The Elephants are later in the year not now?

JLPpositive, personally looking forward to an update on Cyprus as it could be the first move out of the geographical area and the learnings will pave the way for other moves.

I’m starting to wonder whether a small maiden dividend with the FY results might not be bad, after all it will, potentially, open the share up to a wider set of investors?

I’m not entirely convinced this a sudden drop? Think it’s come off a bit, the same as other Miners, as metal prices have dropped across the board? Don’t think it’s JLP specific? Many don’t really know the underlying story as comparatively it’s still a minnow? The next update should put the SP back in the starting block!

Off the radar!

Good to see we’re all looking at a net earnings of broadly £50m or pretty much 300% of last year. That should lift the SP out of the doldrums!

I would be surprised if there wasn’t plenty to process, after all JLP approached CMRS, not the other way around?

Absolutely like watching paint dry waiting for some real news. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will change all that!
