For BP they could set off the write down against tax on future income so actually quite useful.... eua I suggest will be less of a worry for the rf...and they have Russians running it there anyway

Erm BP, starbucks, ikea, amc but not all have sold at a loss...all depends on circumstances...the biggest risk is nationalisation of course, but I think they tend to do that with bigger companies rather than smes
