Finncairn, not sure why you would sell out, you’re contradicting yourself. You posted this the other day : Each has their own opinion regarding what will happen in Malaysia & SP as a result. I could understand a re trace in SP based on Malaysia if UPL where soley focused on Malaysia & all their assets where in Malaysia, but they are not. We have assets in the UK, wick alone if successful is worth $225M or 22p per share, UPL are currently just above 3p per share. That is not including the assets we could be aquiruing in the African continent (2 different countries). I feel far too much has been made of Malaysia, far too much negativity & remind myself wick alone has massive upside potential (blue sky) that alone for me is worth holding for. **************** No doubt you sold at a lost.why not accumulate your position?

Federal govt will not interfere with good policies of state govt Chong May 11, 2018, Friday KUCHING: Pakatan Harapan (PH) federal government will not make life difficult for state Barisan Nasional (BN) government in the implementation of policies and development projects for Sarawak. In fact, they would back whatever policies and plans that benefit the people of Sarawak, said state PH and Democratic Action Party (DAP) chairman Chong Chieng Jen.
I wouldn’t have thought so, UPL were well aware that a general election was happening this week, if they were waiting to see who won then why would they issue an MOU RNS regarding Brooke, surely they would have waited. In my opinion the outcome of the election shouldnt have any effect on Uplands. I doubt we’ll hear anything about Sarawak assets before July. GLA.
He’s always flying to London, he goes to practically all home games, I wouldn’t read into it too much, besides he’s not a member of the board so wouldn’t have any say over what goes on within the company. Tune invested in UPL ( more than doubling their money within 10 weeks) they are not part of the Tune group.
