Remember Folks we buying back our shares cheaply ( massive for any long term holders ) and still pay a reasonable Dividend on top

I keeping to my thinking in February time , if the share price is below still 45p come dividend day I will top up 50% of the dividend.

Saying that we still got 9 days or so for the market maker's to play this share come the 19th May and bounce the share price 10 / 15%

Just **** off the retail shareholders who re-invest their dividends.

Any share consolidation and I am out , as quick as you can say how's your father.

My last share save

I believe, I had up to 6 months to sell at my option price or just keep the shares for dividend

At todays low prices and the quoted 61.5p ( 2019 ) or 71p ( 2019) I assume a few will wait and hope for the share price to rise

If they sell on the 11th May 2022 they will not making any money selling at around 42p and losing even taking the 20% discount into consideration they be losing money, so will many may just ask for their money back .

Lets be honest LLoyds Share price has been awful on the 3 year and 5 year chart and well down today.

For me its looking likely, I going here for the next 5 years picking up dividends

As my original sell price in the range of 70p to 80p is just a pipe dream for now .

The £2 Billion share buy back is going to plan and very cheaply I must say

Share price movements has got nothing to do with the Lloyds Board or employee's , its the Market that sets the prices

5 years ago the share price was 71p May 2017

Take the 20% discount this time around staff who take the shares will not be making that's much profit this time around and many might just ask for their money back and refuse the option amount to buy ?

My last share save scheme I was in 2017 , we could invest up to £500 a month

Choose a 3 year or a 5 year period at a 20% discount of the current share price.

Not sure what the Lloyd's share price was 3 or 5 years ago , but it appears most staff have taken there options and asked for the shares.

That can be request sell all or only sell a certain number if they want to hold on to them.

I expect a massive share price full on that day as most employees are in it to make money and have no interest in holding shares.

I have to agree this appears to be a massive amount and a kick in the shareholders nuts

Hopefully we can gobble up a few unloved shares in the first few hours of trading

We need to hit £4billion plus cancelled shares to get my 8% return on this buy back

As I stated yesterday , if we manage to buy back 4 to 5 billion shares that's nearly a 8% return to us shareholders

That's on top of the dividend payments :-)
