Honestly Lloyds share prices could be a pound and paying a 4p dividend and I bet there will be some that still will moan on here :-)

This why we need to buy back another 4 Billion odd shares in 2023

To help me / us , seeing my 76p in 2023

I kid you not I have waited patiently before here last time , long hold was from May 2009 to August 2013 to hit my 76p ( 4 years )

And as with this hold last time around she also hit the low 20s in 2012 , as she had in 2020 , once again , I just carried on topping up in the mean years.

Increased my original holding by topping up buying 4500 shares in May 2009 and sold 105,000 in 2013 at 76p

I feel this a good omen this time around

Bought late 2019 540,000 re-invested dividend's and add my small top ups like before , Can I sell my new increased total 600,000 plus Lloyds shares at 76p in 2023

Just goes to show how much the Group can earn and how cheap we are today.

Rome was not built in a day and I cannot see any other FTSE 100 stock so attractive today , looking very much to the finals in February and any new money, I buying more here in 2023.

I know I said this last year, BUT I be surprised we below 60p this time next year IMHO , if that's what I believe, then I am going nowhere short term.

I am like many really very very surprised how low the market is valuing Lloyds these days .

Lloyds Banking Group is in a superior / better position than we was in 2015 as ''Longtermunvestors '' has pointed out Lloyds Banking Group has clean up it act. and was hitting 90p in 2014 , we was the UK Darling Bank .

Personally, I am still gobsmacked that the Group managed not to have gone bust after paying out £22 Billion in PPI rewards from 2012 to 2018 what other FTSE 100 could afford to of paid this out ?

Yes 2022 has be a disappointing share price year, but a good year for the Group in general ... Interest Rate rises / 4,500,000,000 shares bought back and cancelled ( Same again Sam ( AKA Charlie ) in 2023 if we in below 60p )

For me I am happy with the progress we have made under Charlie Nunn and the share price will hopefully come back in her own time so I happy to sit back and enjoy life a bit. :-)

I be looking to hold and add more in 2023 especially at todays prices

Dividend is playing my way in life , so any increase in dividends here in 2023 will make me happy to hold up to 2024 now :-)

Still Jet lagged arrived back from Mexico Saturday morning , Head and body everywhere mate, last night I was wide awake at 1 am could not sleep... never had this last time I went in 2019

Many are young married men and have wife and kids waiting to come over next ... So we really need housing for well over a million and that's just today count

Let's hope Lloyds Bank are quick off the mark any decrease in House prices in 2023 bedsits flat's cheap housing up north will be snapped up by the government to house the 250,000 migrants that are waiting to be housed in long term accommodation.

Good time for Lloyds Banking Group to start operation Landlord and buy up all the cheapest housing stock in 2023 then :-)

The younger generation don't want to buy and are just renting these days, they don't want to save and want to live for the moment.

Once Mummy and Daddy pops their clogs they will inherit the family house and savings anyway.

Whoever in the Group thought it was a good idea to start buying houses and become Lloyd's comes their landlords must be smiling and asking for a good bonus in 2023

Yes Lloyd's Banking Group has been doing staff sharesaves scenes I can remember, this along add millions block shares annually. Add most senior managers get bonuses in shares also adds up.

I know a few employees that take up the option every 3 year's £500 a month term and always have sold on maturity as they buy them at 20% discount from start date that usually early June time.

As an shareholder, I do get a little Jealous as they alway seem end up with averages around 35p so it a no brainer for them to hold on the shares if share price is 50p say...

This is why buy backs are very important here and need to be big to keep ahead of the staff share perks

When the experts say you need to sometimes expect to wait 10 year's before you see any profit when investing direct on the market.

They must of been talking about buying Lloyd's Banking Group shares...lol

I reinvested here exactly 3 years ago todate at 63p after Boris roaring conservative election victory expecting Bank shares to surge higher.

Next day Boris announced a hard Brexit (that never happened) and the real sucker punch was COVID that put me on the ropes .

But as you know , I look at positives in life and used long hold as an opportunity not looking at these as a set back but to manage and re-invest 90% of all dividend income , good news is over the 3 years I've todate managed at an average of below 40p to add another 60,000 Lloyd's shares to the regardless pension fund.

So when Lloyd's Banking Group does finally returns to 63p plus in February 2023. I really not sure what I going to do as we get an OK dividend income stock here that's and also Lloyd's is buying back Billions of pounds worth of shares. And not many companies out there can offer this return today IMHO.
