You right there balj. mike i don't think institutions look at market cap - they look at future earnings.

i've been looking at other gold miners like VGM who are producing less gold (though recent news says they want to increase that) and have a market cap of £160m. OMI have targeted 55,000 oz for this year, money in the bank and another mine with 1 million oz of gold that they will start production of soon. so I think we are looking at settling at around £1.50 going up to £2 or more once new mine production figures start rolling out. I think £2 is very conservative. But pls DYOR before buying. I am very much a newbie still trying to get the hang of things.

I agree, kefi is looking interesting, they have 21 licenses applied for. The sp will probably spike a little every time a license is approved, and once drilling results are out it'll be up and up imo. but its def not a short termer. med/long term. What do you think?

jusr read the vgm report. Share consolidation. Looking to list in america and looking to increase output. Your hunch is right, time to get in and hold for 2yrs imo. I'm still a newbie and not started with too much, made a loss until now - all part of the learning curve i suppose. Omi doing me good so far. Might have to find some cash and start investing in vgm.

just had a very quick read of final results rns. They are producing same oz of gold as omi have on their targets. Market cap of £161m - ie omi have far to go yet. Plus vgm have over 4 billlion shares, thats why price is so low. Still need to do more research as to how much gold they got underground, what mines are they exploring etc, but from initial read omi has more upside. Imo of course!!! Anyone else reading this pls dyor before making any decisions.

i don't see why not, that gives market cap of £150m - totally realistic with what assets are in place.

What is current gold price? Wonder why we still not had those results mentioned in RNS for end of october.

OMI have a lot of drilling going on and we should get regular updates as to how much gold they are finding at each area. We also have news due end of this month - according to the RNS on 12th OCt, about a silver deposit too.

How do you find out how much they want your shares for??
