THG – will Apollo firm up upon its intentions next Monday and make a bid? Should gamblers jump in now?
Well, we will all know soon enough. THG is certainly a volatile little beastie!
It may not be official but the SP decline suggests there will be no deal. Get real everyone and accept it.
The future will still be rosy but 117p to 77p does not in any way support an imminent deal.
Disappointing, annoying, frustrating but it is what it is so it's time to accept it
The race is not always to the Swift rather to those who keep on running.
The SP will rise whether today or next week/month/year. We know the SOTP's are around 220p so I will be holding.

You will never discover new Oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.
Crazy day today but the important thing to remember is there were NO new facts. Holding tight until the end (whenever that may be). It really feels like times are changing for THG and I look forward to reaping some substantial benefits well before September. Good luck to all LTH's and f*** the shorters and the city boys.
After this mornings disgraceful manipulation I am now more than ever convinced that a deal is coming and probably this weekend. Dark forces at work as MM has alluded to.
I am holding whatever happens so the DF's can go and **** themselves.
What a pile of 5****e. 25% drop in minutes but PI's have no info. IG better have some substance behind their note.
Couldn't even get 10k out without a negotiated trade so I am taking the Dog out and we shall see what happens over the day.
Certainly not going to be a deal when the SP is 88p. Suppose I will just keep holding. GLA LTH's
Tried to get £10k out but not offering a price. Fecking manipulation.
The Market is a confusing place isn't it. Deal or no deal? Take your pick. If we drop back below a £1 then perhaps there is some substance in the IG article.
Jeez, will somebody just but at £2.50 and we can all go and do something more interesting.
Yesterday there were 18 million shares traded with little movement in the SP.
So far today we have 600,000 shares traded and the SP is lower by 6%.
Time to buy more or just hold tight.

Will it or won't it?
Nice one OSG.
Too much chatter on here by far. I'm expecting £2.25 yet hoping for more. GLA LTH's
Good volume, nice rise. £1 coming. Shorts still to close. Looking good
It gives me great pleasure to see that the City Spy has blocked me on Twitter because I called him out. Ha Ha.That made my day. For the record I still say he is full of sh£t and knows nothing more than what we all know.
The pieces are coming together and a bid now looks likely. Charles Allen getting Sue on the board suggests to me there will a deal to be done which is likely to be part cash and part stock offer in the New company. What is a steep premium though? I reckon 180p moving higher as the bid gets negotiated. I would prefer £2.50 which would seem to be fair. My thoughts entirely and like everyone else on this board I will be sat watching tomorrow. Have a nice evening all. Let's hope for good news coming

I am long since last year at around 128,000 shares. Whilst I would love to see someone take my shares around £2.50 or higher, we must remain logical as there is still no official bid and no price being discussed with us guys. However, given MM GS expiring in September then he has to do a deal otherwise he will lose the company thereafter. So, a bidder could wait until then or a deal could go through now (a MBO). I believe a MBO would be the best option for MM and the price would need be over £2 as a minimum. He cant afford that on his own and has not been accumulating so he has to do a deal with Apollo. All in my view of course. PS. Please hurry up and get on with it :)
I see he is being called out as he only post what is already known. I tend to agree.
