Eskom wants 16% tariff increase "Johannesburg - Power utility Eskom said on Monday it has applied for a 16% annual increase in electricity rates over five years to pay for new plants and buy power from independent producers. Another interesting bit about Mr. Ntuli..... Mr Ntuli is a member on the board of the African Export-Import Bank (AFRIEXIMBANK). Headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the Bank was established by African Governments, African private and institutional investors as well as non-African financial institutions and private investors for purposes of financing, promoting and expanding intra-African and extra-African trade. Transnet Initiates EIA For Upgrading Of Manganese Ore Line Posted on Oct 16 "In addition to the ferrying of manganese, Elitheni Coal is talking to Transnet about the possibility of exporting coal through Ngqura at a later stage when it opens up coalfields closer to the main railway line. Port Elizabeth Port Manager Rajesh Dana confirmed recently that the export of coal through Ngqura was “not off the radar”.
