There's shiny yellow stuff there too. Yet to be reported. This is NCM's (and therefore ours) Golden Goose. And the eggs keep coming.
Institutions will take note. They will want your nest eggs. Do as Paddy says because the hands you sit on are sitting on a behemoth of a gold mine.
One that right now, seems to have no limits. With any luck, some of our children and grand children may yet live to see technology that can hoover up ore from 4+km depth.
@djwatty / @SAS and @Redirons,
Thanks. To my seemingly increasing pool of ignorance, I shall add 'inability to eloquently express the benefits of a SIPP' (even though writing about that sort of stuff has occasionally been my job) despite essentially getting it.
And I am also glad my original post has sparked such a grown up conversation amongst many of the 'lights' of this board.
Something the botflies haven't been able to argue with. Making here more pleasant
Still maintain that, apart form being part of something special through this board (a bonus not a reason) a GGP shareholding is, all but legally defined, as a stake in a gold mine.
And in a company that knows how to use modern day kit to potentially find others.
And that means on any given day, at any give time, a RNS could pop up which says: " We have an offer for: our stake in Havieron." Or indeed the whole company.
I hope we see it through to first pour. When, as has been said many times before, it would be nice to be able to buy a pure 24 carat, commemorative coin - names on a post card?
With due respect to my mucker Paddy, my suggestion is a 'Bampsy'.
HAGW all
Doubt mine will hit the threshold Speedy. Thanks to your prompting, I DMOR and have also invested in some real metal too - that's why I love this board, for the most part. Lots of gems, in amongst the gold!
@Rotherby. I am here to cause trouble? Really? I am here, occasionally to try to put a smile on true investors' faces. I am a complete and utter geological ignoramus. But I can turn a word or too. I happen to believe we are sitting on a gold mine. And I also believe we will hit 67p one day. And it is indeed the lowest figure I would take if we got bought out which, is a risk, that could happen. On a Tuesday. After close. Before a blinding set of results. It wouldn't make me a millionaire. But £125k cash and £335 into the pension is not to be sniffed at.
Now, having faltered me are you going to filter me too?
The fact is: we are all (well the people who post here who are actually invested) actually sitting on a gold mine.
Wouldn't want to be out of it this weekend. Or the next one. Or the one after that. Or ever. Well, might take a view after the first pouring.
Or if we get bought out for 67p/share. Announced in an RNS next Tuesday at 5pm.
Hey Ian, it's my mum's 80th tomorrow. I think she was born at 2:52. I'll make it 11 tomorrow and hope the 2:52 is an RNS or a price...ya never knw.
by the way@Tillywhizz, on your ship is their whisky as well as rum?
GLA?
I look at this board less frequently than I used to; coining a phrase (I think it was by 'Tillywhizz') from the EUA boards, because of the 'botfly' manifestation. But when I do look in and see the vacuous comments from botfly types, who are clearly not invested (as opposed to comments made by peeps that are, but who quite understandably may be unhappy because of the SP, and voice fair questions not necessarily 'in the positIve') I am glad those naysayers are here. Why if they are not invested would they be here? Simply, to try to sow seeds of doubt! Why do that? Because someone is paying them to do it because that someone wants your shares as low as they can get them. Why would they want your shares...der!
But also when I look in, and see Bamps is still posting despite all the botfly efforts to do him down And still how brilliantly informative but not ramping his posts are, I am also glad - as we all should be.
"In October 2021 we also released the Havieron Stage 1 Pre-Feasibility Study which
provides an exciting base for future growth at Telfer. Stage 1 of the Havieron project
already meets and exceeds our internal investment hurdles and leverages the benefit of
existing infrastructure and processing capacity at Telfer. The PFS is based on Ore
Reserves of 14Mt and does not consider 37Mt of Inferred Mineral Resource. It is an
incredible achievement that we have been able to deliver this significant project milestone
within only two years of starting drilling at Havieron. We believe this is just the first stage
of a bright and profitable future.
The Havieron deposit is still open in multiple directions with excellent potential to increase
the scale and life of the project, and to adopt alternative, lower cost, mining methods. The
drilling program continues to deliver encouraging results from the Havieron Breccia zones,
creating the opportunity to lower costs with bulk mining options. In May we commenced
construction of the exploration decline, which is critical to achieving our goal of first
production within the next two to three years."
‘Apparently’ NCM are going to build a mine at Havieron. But how do we know that the images of the decline aren’t just trick photography or the moving images just clever CGI?
And these alleged assay results at Havieron – they could easily be made up. I mean, let’s be honest: 20-odd ‘amazing’ results in a row and they “Don’t know how big it is” – really? I mean really don’t they know what they’re doing? That would mean it’s one of the biggest finds, well ever.
Then they say it’s going to be the second cheapest mine in the world – come on what do you take us for?
And now allegedly they have identified 2 more targets that they just happen to conveniently own that look just like Havierorn? Next they’ll be saying it’s a district.
And the bloke that apparently found Havieron gets an award – well I didn’t see him go and collect it from someone, did you? Nope! Anyone can fake an award.
Let’s be serious folks. The market doesn’t lie. If all the above was true, surely the share price would not still be at a level where PIs could be made to feel scared at keeping hold of their shares and big short pants could hoover them up so cheaply.
That’s my absolute joke. Shared.
Just seen the above. They talk about their 70% ownership of Havieron, with this *
*Havieron is operated by Newcrest under a Joint Venture Agreement with Greatland Gold plc (Greatland Gold). As announced on 12 October 2021, completion of the Pre-Feasibility Study triggered Newcrest’s entitlement to an additional 10% interest in the Joint Venture for a cumulative 70% Joint Venture interest with Greatland Gold at a 30% interest. Newcrest has an option to acquire an additional 5% Joint Venture interest for fair market value, exercisable during the 12 months from 12 December 2021.
I know we know that but there it is in print.
HAGE and GLA !
Paddy's yellow card should be up by now. He's busy and almost certainly has better things to do than waste his time explaining LSE's idiocy (yellow card for me, naught boy!). That said I am sure when does have some, he will no doubt enlighten us with some pear - whether or not that Galls the moderators, no one knows?
